As expected, President Bush announced his economic stimulus plan today in Chicago, and surprised many with how comprehensive and 'bold' it was. In the plan, 92 million taxpayers would receive, on average, a tax cut of $1,083 in 2003. The plan would also adjust the tax rates to 10%, 15%, 25%, 28%, 33%, 35%. Also today, the new Republican Senate majority was sworn in, and their first priority was to extend unemployment benefits, a plan the President supports. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

They are at once happy, witty, serious and always loving towards each other as well as showing thier fondness for GBW in ways that aren't mushy and borderline sappy. You treat him and Laura with such respect This is SO GOOD, Pippin!!!

I was very impressed with Frist today - in control, determined, leading with a gentlemanly grace. A pleasure to behold - I hope it continues.

Oh, I definately won't gloat that our fabulous Republican President is doing a fantastic job, and that his speech was awesome (so I've heard), and that he is approval raiting is still great (Dr.Deb, what's the latest?)!!!

JUST GOT HOME AND AM CATCHING UP! RECIEVED THIS FROM COUSIN TODAY! THOUGHT I'D PASS IT ALONG HERE......
Dear Friends and Family,
You may have heard in the news that a couple of Post Offices in TX have
been forced to take down small posters that say "IN GOD WE TRUST". The
law that they say that they are violating is something silly about
electioneering posters. (is God running for office?) Anyway, I heard
proposed on a radio station show, that we all write "IN GOD WE TRUST" on
the back of all our mail. After all, that is our national motto, and on all
the money we use to buy those stamps. I think it is a wonderful idea. We
must take back our nation from all the people that think that anything that
offends them should be removed.
If you like this idea, please pass it on, and DO IT.
God Bless America

So am I!!! I don't know what it is, but I had just the best day today. I went to work (Sonic Drive-In summer/winter job) and I was just happy to see every customer that came by today. Nothing could bring me down.

I thought the Hannity & Colms interview with Frum was quite good. He says the Prez is one tough guy and is the one in charge. Very acceptable. He does not have to be a lip bitting sack of ... to get my vote.
