Here is Richard Holbrooke, the US envoy, admitting that, yes, at a secret meeting with the KLA in 1998, he did indeed tell them that Kosovo independence was an option, and the clear implication in the film that this actively encouraged the KLA to step up their campaign of terror against Serb policemen and civilians. Here too is Holbrooke being hoodwinked by the KLA into having his photograph taken sitting rubbing shoulders (literally) with a bearded gunman from an organisation most of the world still considered terrorist and then, in the next moment, Jacques Chirac describing his reaction when the photograph was published on front pages around the world then next day: "I was astonished. I telephoned Bill Clinton and told him this was unacceptable". This is an attempt to absolve the Clintonistas by saying they were fooled. They were not. Milosevic is destroying them at the Hague and the Left Way si spinning faster than a top. Faced with facts they curse Milosevic and acknowledge the unthinkable...Richard Holbrooke, the US envoyactively encouraged the KLA an organisation most of the world still considered terrorist to step up their campaign of terror against Serb policemen and civilians.

Why are you surprised at the treachery of the Thing and his minions. All during the "war in Albania, we here at FR raled at the support the Things Admin was giving to terrorist. But, lest we forget, they did let the Puerto Rican terrorists out of jail.

Bill Clinton leaned across a desk at an air force base at Dayton, Ohio and handed a Cuban cigar to Slobodan Milosevic.
To quote Doc Gooden in an old television commercial with Catfish Hunter:
But Catflish! Dats e-lee-go!

I don't get it. This author clearly states that Milosovic was intentionally drawn into an all out battle with the Albanians in Kosovo through terrorist actions. Does this guy think that terrorism was justified? That Milosivic was the only villain?
Now we know for sure that the reported Serb massacres were lies or at least gross exaggerations. The liberal mind-set is moral depravity, not moral relativity.

> "For in 1995, in order to bring the war in Bosnia to an end, the leaders of the western world had chosen in a quite calculated way to turn the principal architect of war into the principal bestower of peace.
What a price there was to pay for it.
Less than a year later, the Kosovo Albanians drew the obvious lesson from the moral shambles of the Dayton Agreement and it was this: in the real world only force will get you what you want."
Give me a break! I was there when we were building up to attack in Operation Allied Farce. We acknowledged the KLA were terrorists who financed their operations through illegal drug running. They were nothing but thugs bent on capturing the traditional capital province of Serbia; Kosovo. This isn't something that started out of the blue in response to Milosevic. It was something brewing through the state sponsorship of Albania for years. I watched as the Clinton Admin (specifically Madeleine Not-too-bright--who, BTW is known to have speculated on a run for Czech Repub president at one time) pushed for the war with incredible demands Milosovic could never have accepted and then began attacking with less provocation than we have received from Saddam Hussein.
Sadly, the military doesn't have the authority to say, "Hey, wait a second..." when the president says Go.

It's still not good enough. The reasons that criminals gains such power was that they were the only ones who knew how to avoid the law & therefore the most effective at sanctions busting. Sanctions placed on the FRY are the single most important reason for the rampant corruption etc. Everyone became a 'criminal' because that was the only way to survive.
