I hadn't the vaguest idea what was going on on this thread when I first opened it, and only many questions finally answered it.

however, since so many were concerned about porn, and called me a 'disruptor', and want me to review all the porn, i thought i would bring up my concerns about censorship and the rules on FFR, which I couldn't get answered in other places.

This moderator actually answered some questions, and participated, and gave some explanations, which was great.

You're a smoothie, I will say that about you. But you're getting repetitious and exhausting with your feigned innocence. Most of your replies parallel what I've read almost word-for-word on the anti-freeper sites. Many of their contributors post here under one handle, there on another, enjoying the gamesmanship. What is and isnt acceptable on FFR has changed over the years.

Yes, but so what? It's Jim's machine, he can make any rules he wants and can change them anytime he wants. And there's been no sudden massive shifts in what's allowable and what isn't, just a slow evolution over time as the site got bigger and bigger.

And in the end, what's the big deal anyway, unless you are literally getting posts and threads of yours yanked every single day? There's hardly a single active Freeper who doesn't have a post or thread yanked or moved every once in a while. Why? Because the posters are human, and so are the moderators. Sometimes a post that sorts of sits on the fence between acceptable and unacceptable may be left alone by one moderator but yanked by another one that comes on duty a few hours later, or vice versa.

I guess what I'm saying is, just don't worry about it so much. Post what you want; if you are continuously posting stuff that gets yanked, any of the Admins or JimRob can let you know privately what you, yourself, are doing wrong to get yanked so often. If it only happens every once in a while, then you're doing just fine.

Throw in (doing a quick look) about 5 a day pulled at the request of the poster (as I said before, generally because they screwed the post up and they want to repost it), and about 20 a day of trolls (probably just one troll- he kept using Christmas themed names during the holidays which suggests it is either one person or a group working in concert), and about 10 a day which are pulled for being duplicates (generally when these are pulled the pull message links to the original thread).

But those above are those pulled for content (or lack thereof).

Content is the key. And those look like good candidates to me, just from the titles.

I never have understood why everybody fixates on Jim and "why Jim pulls this" or "why Jim pulls that."

The rest of us read and post here, too. We're entitled to NOT be offended. As someone said up the thread, a lot of us encourage our friends and CHILDREN to read here.

I do not disagree with you regarding the content/frequency of the threads pulled.
