Earth Liberation Claims Responsibility For SUV Firebombing

On Friday, the environmental terrorist group Earth Liberation Army claimed responsibility for setting several SUV’s on fire at Bob Ferrando Ford in Girard.

The claim was released on the ELF’s website. The statement says the group targeted the SUV’s to “continue the fight to remove the profit motive from the killing of the natural enviornment."

The FBI says it is taking the fires very seriously. Four SUV’s were completely destroyed when jugs of gas were placed under three of them and then lit.

The vandalism occurred just before 6:00 a.m. New Year’s Day. Police estimate the damage at $100,000. Owner Bob Ferrando says his insurance will cover the damage.

Back in November, the ELF claimed that it teamed with the Animal Liberation Front in setting fire to an Erie mink farm. The ELF also claimed responsibility for the August 11 fire of a Forest Service lab in Warren County, and claimed responsibility for spiking trees and setting a crane on fire in Winter Green Gorge last March.

I wonder how many miles you'd have to drive one of those SUVs before putting out pollution comparable to setting one on fire? I'm betting it's a LOT.

they claim to love the environment? they worship nature? ok, fine. set them down bare-ass-nekkid in that Alaskan Arctic Wildlife Reserve they keep moaning about, several hundred miles away from any habitation, in the middle of winter, and let Nature take its course.

You guessed it kiddo-it was right about sept. 12th, 2001.I believe I read at one time he had been writing a dissertation on the subject for some time.A mixed up individual if there ever was one.The federales have a strong desire to see this man incarcerated as he encourages arson acts and other acts of political/environmental sabotage any way he can.

Whats screwball is that this guy can thumb his nose at city,state,county and federal police and get away with it.He even thumbed a congressional subcommitee.I doubt he'll get away with this for ever though.ELF is the #1 domestic terrorist group and the walls are closing in around them.
