Welcome to the world of Big 12 officials -- the absolute worst officials in the NCAA! They call phantom fouls and when someone needs to have a foul called, they look the other way. Have seen some really bad calls this year from the Big 12 officiating crews especially the moron that resides in Austin and his crew!

I thing about a game like this is that alot of people that dont watch football much and dont really know anything about the rules think the know more than they really do know....as alot of posters here are exhibiting! GO BUCKS!

Miami never faced a defense like Ohio State this year, and it showed.

Hey he's good. No, he's extremely good.

But had you played Iowa when they were hot...you would have been smacked IMHO. For that schedule fauz pas you can be thankful. That's one H*ll of a coach, bringing them from nowhere to being the class of the Big Ten (cept they melted in the bowl game).

Not to mention Barry Alvarez, Lloyd Carr, Joe Paterno and the rest.

Show me the reply starting at the beginning of the play, you know, where the Miami player was holding the OSU player after the 5 yd "free-zone".

I have yet to see a single piece of video that details what occurred during the OSU recievers route.........he was lined up way, wide right, out of camera view.

Big 12 officiating crews have been doing that all year. One official makes the call like the one did that said incomplete who BTW was looking at the play then all of a sudden the yellow hankie comes from way across the field. Lost track the number of times I saw that happen with our stupid officiating crews this year.

It's not reviewable even under NFL replay rules. Penalty calls are not reviewable. There are blown calls all the time. On Miami's first touchdown drive, a miami lineman practically tackled an OSU lineman just as he was about to sack Dorsey. Dorsey completed a key 31 yd. completion and no flag was thrown.

And, FWIW, the back official who threw the flag was caught on the replay making first the holding call, then the pass interference call. I believe he was actually calling interference but used the holding symbol to indicate what he felt the Miami defender did. What amazed me is what nerves of steel these two teams showed. What great leaders quarterbacking both teams. Truly a classic game. Congrats to Ohio State.
