[history]
Former Blaine City Council member David White has started a petition to recall U.S. Sen. Patty Murray from office for comments she made recently about terrorist leader Osama bin Laden.
White said he will begin circulating the petition soon and will ask the Whatcom County Republican Party to solicit signatures, then present the petition to federal officials.

Enforcing Section 3 of the 14th Amendment would fall to the Department of Justice, and failing there, to the U.S. military, not to the Senate.

This is just "tit-for-tat" silliness. Instead of a recall bid, doomed to almost certain failure, make it an issue in her reelection bid. Don't stop reminding people of it. Make sure that the people of her state, whenever they hear the name "Patty Murray," instantly think of her as a dupe for the radical Islamists (since, of course, this "stuff" about bin Laden paying for any such things is all propaganda; it never happened).

"Doesn't matter. The rats gathered to her defense."Which elected Democrats have publicly defended Murray's anti-American comments?
Name them.
And don't confuse the media's current passive coverup of Murray's actions with an active defense of said actions by elected officials. The difference is not subtle.

Look, I am not saying that he shouldn't be leading the charge, I am just saying that there is plenty of ammunition that can be fired against this man from the left and I am not sure that I would want my name linked with his, even though I may agree with his basic positions.

Let's help Patty Murray (d-osama) remember we just had three people over in the middle east trying to help and they received 3 bullets for their efforts. Hell, I am ALL FOR clearing land over there for future roads, schools and hospitals as long as we do it quickly and efficiently with mushroom-cloud generating devices.

That's our Patty...light in the loafers, empty tennis shoes. Nothing upstairs but Left Wing mush.

I have to agree with Arpege on this one. Women like Hillary and Murray, ad infinitum, who claim to "speak" for American women are full of crap. They don't and never will speak for me. Hillary and Murray are affirmative action tokens. Hillary is an empty (pants)suit and Murray an empty (tennis)shoe.

"Patty Murray (D-Osama)"
I love this, it bears repeating.

She better not pull that Feminist C**p. she is praising a guy that led the Taliban in it's execution ,rape and total oppression of women in Afganistan. Whoever runs against her should be documenting the misery of the Afgani women, and asking Patty(I LUV bin)Murray to defend her hero's actions against Women.

The best that can happen is to weaken her for reelection, and tar other Democrats by their association with her and their unwillingness to condemn her bone-headed remarks. I agree. Even if the pressure got to her enough to make her resign, Washington State Democratic Governor Gary Locke would appoint another Democrat who, without a doubt, would be smarter than Taliban Patty. (He**, a box of rocks is smarter than Patty.)
This woman is terminally stupid. Let her keep talking - and shine the light of truth on her. Let her spew whatever drivel comes out of her mouth, but hold her accountable. Reveal her stupidity until she becomes an object of ridicule to everyone, especially her constituents.
In the meantime, George Nethercutt or whomever wishes to run against her in 2002 has to be very circumspect in this matter and let the troops do the criticizing.

Those are a little too cool. I'm thinkin' Keds.

I don't see any contact info, but would door-to-door my precinct with a recall petition.

Oh, I like this guy:
Perhaps Murray can arrange to export the school system she went through to all those who love Osama.
That way, the next time they try to kill us, they won't be able to locate America on a map.

Instead of a recall bid, doomed to almost certain failure, make it an issue in her reelection bid. Don't stop reminding people of it. You're right on the money, Illbay. I'm gathering a dossier of stupid comments Patty Moron makes in hopes of circulating them come election time.
My neighbor, who is probably as dumb as Senator Moron, is up in arms about Patty's Osama statements. Amazing, and all to the good. Here in WA, word of mouth is growing and is effective weapon against the dimwit's reelection.
Do you know that the staffers on the Hill have rated Murray the dumbest senator two years in a row? This was reported in September 2002 issue of Washingtonian magazine, three months before the big Osama tennis shoe ended up in Murray's mouth. Voters won't want to be considered stupid by voting for a stupid senator, will they?
