Just a minor correction, Bill already has two legacies: impeachment, and Monica. He's just looking for his third legacy!

Everyone who promised us they'd leave if Bush won the election...but is still here.

Not a lib a conservative not affiliated with the pubbyrats.
Some one who believes that the federal government has three responsibilities, defense (which it is failing to do), infra structure roads rivers, etc (again something it is not doing very well) and delivering the mail (another basic function that is working fairly well, but not good enough).
Everything else is liberal claptrap.

I stopped being bitter long ago, I am bemused, and disappointed in my conservative brethren, who keep saying bigger is better, esp. in government.

Gollum? The most painful exposition of liberal asininity this year, for me at least, was Viggo Mortensen's "No More Blood For Oil" meltdown on Charlie Rose.
How can one be so talented and yet so morally blind where the REAL WORLD is concerned?

It's not morally blind- it's sheer ignorance. What they hear and read and formulate their opinions from is slanted and is not the big picture.
That's why people should watch movies for the acting & characterizations, cinematography, story etc. It's entertainment. The actor's personal political views are no concern when I'm watching a movie. It's too bad Mr. Mortensen is uninformed, it's his loss in the long run.
I suppose the sad thing is these people truly believe what they spout, and really think they are doing the right thing.
I tell you what was refreshing, was seeing Mrs. "Everyone Loves Raymond" on O'Reilly the other night, speaking up about voting Republican, being anti-abortion, and saying one parent should be home with the kids. That takes some guts- she admitted catching flak for it at times, but said hey, she can do other work than acting if necessary.
