Many of you have asked if there was another way to contact
our military men and women besides sending e-mails.
This might make an easy to do classroom project or office project.

"The Doctor said, "I didn't say that. I said you got a heart murmur. Be careful."

You are on a roll, Radix, on a roll.

We will expect a picture of the jungle gym "thingy" that caused you such pain when it's all put together.

I may just burn the darned thing!!

I'm so mad at myself for being such a dummy! Aaaargh!

Aaaw, I won't make the critters suffer because their momma is an idiot. Once I can move again, I'll assemble it and get a pic. Maybe I can sweet-talk my hubby into putting it together. He hasn't offered to yet. I think I'm being taught some kind of lesson or something. LOL!

Chocolate is a vegetable!

I like this vegetable. Radu, it's not green!!

Chok-lit's the best vegetable I can think of. Yummy!! And yep, you can eat all you want, since it's not green!! (once you get past the 7-Up and soup stage, that is.)

Jimmy received a parrot for Christmas. The parrot was fully grown, with a very bad attitude and worse vocabulary.

Every other word was an expletive; those that weren't expletives were, to say the least, rude. Jimmy tried to change the bird's attitude by constantly saying polite words, playing soft music... anything he could think of. Nothing worked.

He yelled at the bird, and the bird got worse. He shook the bird, and the bird got madder and more rude.

Finally, in a moment of desperation, Jimmy put the parrot in the freezer. For a few moments he heard the bird swearing, squawking, kicking and screaming and then, suddenly, there was absolute quiet.

Jimmy was frightened that he might have actually hurt the bird, and quickly opened the freezer door.
The parrot calmly stepped out onto Jimmy's extended arm and said, "I'm sorry that I offended you with my language and my actions, and I ask your forgiveness. I will endeavor to correct my behavior".

Jimmy was astounded at the changes in the bird's attitude and was about to ask what had changed him, when the parrot continued, "May I ask what the Chicken did?

Dang Kathy. Everyone's going to sleep. Guess it is late, though. Don't know if I can handle that ambulance but I know I can handle this sweetie. It rides smooth, too, which I definitely need at this point in time. LOL!! There's plenty of room for some of the troops who might like to come along.
This was taken the day my hubby brought the car home from Illinois. I was so excited I couldn't help but ham it up a bit.

Oh my radu, is this one of the ones you take to shows? I'm ready for a ride. You do realize that the "sedate crew" is here? Hehehehe! That would be us. My stomach is not up to any fast driving quite yet. OK, I'm ready.

We don't take this car to shows but we do take it to cruise-ins. They're kinda like car shows but there's no judging. Just hanging out together and letting folks come by and look at all the cars. "The Freakazoid" (our name for this wild thing) could use a new paint job to eliminate a few scratches. Til that's done, it's not really show quality. It's great to drive around in.

It really is smooth so it'll be perfect for your unsettled tummy and my bunged up back. Nice and slooooow is the order of the rest of the evening. Yep, the "Sedate Crew" is definitely the right name for us. giggle!!!!

Comr on, troops, sit back and enjoy the scenery as we cruise.

"BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! How do you stand it up there??"

More clothes! I don't do the skiing, snowmachining, hiking thing any more. Too many "old" problems, but when I do things like the zoo with my niece, you wear more clothes, and stop to warm up a strategic places. LOL! Maybe just living here makes you blood change. My whole family is born and raised southern California, but we love it here.

I really like this shot. The children all look so happy. I'm sure they're very thankful to the U.S. forces for remodelling their school in Kabul.
