Just watched the Factor and the issue was the homeless in San FranCRISCO. The local Hotels have started a campaign to protest the waste of money and no results. They have an interesting website, complete with a "forum"(more like a guestbook), where you can chime in.

That is nuts. A good guess for the number of homeless people in a city like San Francisco is about 7500. So $200 million works out to $26,000 per homeless person. I'll bet there are full-time hotel employees in San Francisco who don't make that in a year. |

Make that Hershey's, Mr. Goodbars, Nutty Buddys, Blow Pops, and an ASSortment of flavored jock straps.

I want to know why those stray cats keep coming back, I gave them food already, why don't they just move along?

Must be a Gay Bay thing.

If the photo was flipped, (which seems to happen frequently) the words on the sign would be backwards.

I noticed that that fruitcake has his wedding ring on his right hand. Is that a gay thing?
Yes.
GREEAATTT. I've been wearing my wedding ring on my right hand for 24 years, because I got married in the Orthodox Church.

"Pay them, and they will stay." (Meaning, if a bum stands on a street corner and asks for spare change, if you give it to him, he will return to that same corner.) So, if you give the bum on the corner a buck, you're paying him to stay there.

I have noticed that a lot of guys Straight and Gay are wearing the pierced ear ring.
I have forgotten which side they wear it on. Do the Gays wear theirs in their right ear and Straight guys wear it in their left ear?

Here's why they have a problem:

Being a Gay man, I have lived a life of persecution...And I see the homeless being persecuted here. It is disgusting. Obviously there aren't enough programs in place to help them.

In case anyone is interested, the homeless census in San Francisco is 5400 to 14000 depending on who you choose to believe...using the median of the extremes (9700), San Francisco spent $20,618 per individual on the "problem".
Suposeing that one could find an apartment for $800 a month (not unlikely given the viscious rent control in SF), these "victims" would still have $11,000 to spend on Thunderbird and Crack....
San Francisco (Pelosi's District), is an abject example of the failure of liberal social policy...
Food of thought

Some guy on the Factor was claiming they get like $360 a month. That's not bad for a homeless boozer/druggie/chad poker. I guess the rest goes to the gummint homeless industry machine itself, to the tune of $1,358 per person, they herd through the system.
yep, democrats

btw - that's $1,358 per person, per month. And that's minus the cash they give them.
