The problem is this -- the
mainstream media is not picking up the story -- seems only Brit Hume brought it up yesterday, has any other any major TV news/talk show or big-city paper brought this up ?
I believe that the Trent Lott story was pushed into the public-eye by Jesse Jackson (?? at the urging of Terry McCulliffe ??)-- but the Republican Party will not stoop to these tactics (new tone in Washington ??)

Murray thought that because she was speaking to high schoolers, that the NEA and the local teachers union chapter would keep her quotes private. Apparently, some of the high schoolers are smarter than she is! They must have taken their government lessons at home, or a private school.

I recommend we excise Western Washington from the Union. Patty and Baghdad-Jim McDermott should rot in a particular, non-U.S. hell.

These statements are one thousand times worse than what Lott said.
Yet the mainstream media is ignoring the story.
The Senate should consider expulsion.

If Iwere running aginst her in her next election, I would run a commercial consisting of nothing but her voice saying those words over her picture. No comment on it of any sort. Then, at the end, I would simply flash the message: "Paid for by the Committee to Elect Maceman."
It would be a devastating ad for her Republican opponent to run.

Why does she get off scott-free with her statements?
And Lott gets trashed for his statements?
Double standard at work here?
Time for Patty Murray to resign.
