Any bets that these young gentlemen are not "undocumented immigrants?"

Plow a strip along the border, AND MINE IT.

Any criminal invaders that make it past the mines: SHOOT THEM DEAD.

There is a war on, and we cannot take our chances with terrorist infiltrators. That's all the reason we need to give the Mexicans and the bleeding hearts.

If government authorities at all levels obeyed the Second Amendment, as they all swore an Oath to do, then there would be a lot fewer such atrocities, IMO.

The brush was so thick these huts can not be seen from a few feet? Sounds like a prime spot for a brush fire, does'nt it? As TM said, a little spilled gasoline, a carelessly thrown cigarette...who knows?

Sitting on a bench, the woman and a male friend were jumped by a band of what police called homeless Mexican immigrants...

Karl Rove's key constituents for delivering Republican domination for a generation.

Three of the five suspects were treated at the hospital for dog bites.

Good doggie!

You know, I think the whole "no cruel and unusual punishment" part of the Constitution needs to be rewritten. When I read about something like this, it just makes me long for the ability to suspend certain rapists' testicles in a piranha pool.

I hope this poor woman is able to recover from this devastating attack. And I hope the scum who did it get real special attention from the guards at whatever prison they end up going to.

Another wilding. If I were the rape victim I wouldn't trust the D.A's office to secure justice for me. Who knows in 10 years they may set my attackers free. After all the police coerced them into saying they committed the crime.

Sitting on a bench, the woman and a male friend were jumped by a band of what police called homeless Mexican immigrants who beat and robbed them.

So, gang raping a woman and assaulting her boyfriend were the "opportunities" unavailable in Mexico that these poor unfortunates risked life and limb sneaking across the border to obtain? I guess so. Now its nothing but pumping iron, and three squares in climate control until their convictions are overturned. The homeless got laid and found a home in the process, what a land of opportunity the US is. How can we be so selfish as to want to keep it all to ourselves?

It's the year 2002 and Mexican "Banditos" wander freely in New York Parks.

Sounds like freakin' bad science fiction. Even worse that it is not.

"This is eerily similar to the whole Central Park thing,"

Exactly! They see where the 5 rapist animals who did that are going to get paid millions by the taxpayers of NY,and they want in on the pot of gold. Being illegal aliens from Mexico,Bubb-2 will probably even want to build them new homes and invite all their relatives to come stay.

The NY Daily news had a pic of one the perps being hearded into a van. The pic was so small (imho) it wasn't worth posting. The NYPD officer and her canine partner certainly did a fine job.

Mexican immigrants

Immigrants is too kind a word for these freakin' vandals.

They ought to be treated like Huns and killed on sight.

Ok..I haven't had coffee yet.

I was in this park only last year. Why are these guys homeless? Why are they unemployed? Haven't we been told ad nuasuem that Latinos ALL have strong family ties and bravely worked at every job they could because we Americans are too lazy to work ourselves.

I'm outraged!

How dare these police officers take the word of a confidential informant and violate the civil rights of these poor men?

Bitten by vicious police dogs yet.

I hope they sue and they win so much money they change the name of New York to Nuevo Barrioso.

How long will we stand idly by and let these police thugs violate our civil rights? NYPD has a history of this.
