As for doing my part to support the K-9 officers, when I sold my previous motorcycle, we agreed to $3000... then, just before he wrote them amount on the check, I took off 10%... $100 for being a Marine, $100 for being a cop, and $100 for his dog. I just told him that my father, a Marine, retired detective, and dog-trainer, would have beat me senseless if I didn't. =^)
