This will continue until Republicans get some backbone and attack BYRD and the rest of the Democrats for what they are and have been. Power Mongers.

How?

Yup...The democrats are feeling really strong right now and until the Republicans slap them down a little it will continue to escalate.
To: Newbomb Turk
They did this days ago.

Things are only bound to get worse. Lott's resignation has given the Demopcrats a new BAR-B-Q grill and they are dying to use it on the next Republican that slips up or the next appointee thay don't like.

Hey look folks We Republicans are in the Majority lets start acting like it. Drown out the Democrat lies. They will stop at nothing to regain power with their willing media allies.

Any specifics? The newsbabe on Fox said that Terry McAuliff has a posting somewhere alleging some kind of voter fraud (If you can believe the audacity) that in his view were on Frist's watch. It sounds like more politics of personal destruction, or demopolitics as usual. I think it has a lot of potential to backfire.

IT WAS ABOUT ABORTION TO THE NAGS
In Congress, Lott is firmly against womens reproductive rights, and is putting the so-called partial birth abortion ban at the top of his agenda in January. The phrase partial-birth abortion is an inaccurate and inflammatory term invented by the right wing. Partial birth abortion does not refer to any particular medical procedure and the term is not recognized in the medical community, according to the College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Abortion procedure bans such as these aim to outlaw or significantly chip away at a womans right to choose a safe and legal medical procedure.

Jeff Greenberg and Bill Schneider on CNN were saying that Frist's family ties to pharmacauticals (sp?) and a company that has had problems with Medicare fraud in the past will be a problem for him. Additionally, they say it will be the most hotly contested campaign for ML ever. There was more - I've forgotten it because it was all such blatant nonsense.

Agreed. The GOP will win any war of attrition over voter fraud, if we summon the will to fight it.
To: Sabertooth
Any specifics?Of course not.
This is simply a crude bushbot troll trying to spin conservative criticism as "liberal".
What a pile of bulloney.
To: Sabertooth
...if we summon the will to fight it. Big "if," I'm afraid.
