FReepets sounds like the name of a cookie! Is that what you had in mind?? are you baking today?lol

I'm glad you enjoyed the doggies and kitties and iguana today. As a matter of fact, I AM baking cookies today - but not FReepets! :)

Your Bobbi sounds wonderful. I've never heard of that breed so it is interesting to learn about them. I think Lucy has a little Maine Coon in her. She has little wisps on the points of her ears and quite a bit of fur between her foot pads. Her fur is really thick - almost like a double coat. And incredibly soft. I believe Maine Coons can be talky also. She doesn't talk as much to my husband though. He says when he feeds them dinner that she's pretty quiet. She always yaks up a storm when I do the honors.

She's also quite helpful when I'm getting dressed to go to the rink. I get up at oh-dark-thirty to skate at 6am most mornings. She usually comes in the bathroom to "help." She especially likes attacking the laces on my sneakers and the waist ribbon on my skirt. Or she'll plop herself down on my jacket - I think she's warming it up for me. It is kind of funny.

We don't have kids so the cats more than make up for that lack.

I had to spray some of that "repel" stuff on those antlers to keep Gilligan from trying to eat them. :)

Cats revel in routine. My cats sit right next to me while I brush my teeth in the morning, completely rivetted, as if they're saying, "Oh good, this is the part where we brush our teeth." Re playing with your laces, it's as if to say: of course, Mom, you put these skate laces out for me to play with, 'cause why else would you do something/anything except for me, huh? Cats are delightfully self-absorbed. In the same way kids are allowed to be.

Maine Coons are also known to be highly intelligent. And good mousers.

That is really strange - I'm still getting only a sliver of a picture - it's like the top part of a frame or mirror. It's 200 pixels wide and 26 pixels high. I even tried to copy and paste the url in my browser - still get the same thing.
