1) Click on the graphic to open the Calendar.
2) Once there you can click on any month and even click to the right to go into next year. Once you are in the month that you joined FR you will need to click on the number in the calendar and then an add item screen will come up.
3) In the next box enter your name in the "Calendar Text" field and then click on submit.
4) If any of the screens fail to load simply click on refresh in your browser and that will usually fix it.
5) If all else fails or simply if you want me to do this for you send me an FReepmail and I will gladly do it for you. ~Mixer

Your kitties will find something to keep them busy. They can be far more resourceful than we give them credit for.

One good reason why I didn't put up a Christmas tree this year ;).

I expect them to sleep - like they usually do. Bubba is almost 15 and had to have one of his eyes removed last year (he had a tumor in his eye). So, he's slowed down quite a bit. And even though Lucy is younger, she does need her beauty sleep, after all.

"And they don't mind laying on the guilt trip either"

I always find those guilt trips kinda cute and funny, actually. Some times I'll talk to my kitty constantly while she ignores me after I've been away. "That's OK, Kitty, if you're not talking to me, I'm still talking to you!"

We must be related - I do the same thing. I talk to them all the time when I give them their dinner. Lucy, in particular, talks to me the whole time I'm getting their dinner ready. And the Humane Society folks told me she was a quiet cat when we adopted her.

I WIN !! I WIN !! I WIN !! I WIN !! I WIN !!

Not to mention - well, I did mention it on another thread - I got my cookbook before anyone else. As a matter of fact it was the 4th one out of the first box of the first printing, signed in person, thank you.

Yup....I feel totally safe with her around. She always has her nose in the air checking things out. Thanks. She is 10 now so I worry about the day I won't have her. She hates skwerls! And she has killed more skunks then a care to remember! They would dare to come in our yard and pretty soon they were history! And the entire neighborhood knew about it! :)

:) Interesting. Some cats just do "talk." My other cat, Bobbi, is a Japanese Bobtail. She just has a rabbit tail, not a real tale. Perhaps you've seen photos of the breed? Usually white with blotches.

Anyway, this breed is known as a "talker." And Bobbi is no exception. When she's waking up, when she's moving from room to room, when she's playing, she'll often "talk" to herself. She'll also scold me. Like if she's happily on the bed asleep with me upstairs and I move downstairs without taking her with me, she hates that. She wants to move with me and she'll "scold me" with a ya-ya-ra-ra sounds. It's very funny and just impossible to take seriously. She's a very intelligent cat. She also clearly knows several human words: "Bill" (my boyfriend), "chicken," "door," "not now" -- meaning please this is not a good time to jump up onto my stomach as I'm drinking this hot tea, and other words.

I think it's a good sign that your cat talks more than she did with the Humane Society. It means she's more comfortable exhibiting natural behavior. Not all talking is a sign of distress. Some cats and some breeds (like my Japanese bobtail) just get in the mood to happily jabber away. Hee hee, kinda like girls like me! :)

Hi, Aqua - I saw your 'later' post, but just picking up where I left off from lunch.

I really just ran out of steam when doing this thread and thought since I'd just posted Roscoe's pic when announcing the thread a few weeks ago, I'd save a little time and 'space' by not adding his again. :)

I'm so glad you are pleased.

Lucy and Daisy did indeed share the same 'card' last year, along with all of Sassy and kneezle's, I believe, I think that's ciapilot's between Daisy and Lucy. And the first one on the bottom? I can't remember whose! - Archy's?

Hey Feins - great to see ya here today, and in good form to boot.

How are the nude pic sales going from your homepage? Probably rolling in the dough by now I'm guessing.
