From all the pix you've been posting the past week, Dio, it appears the inspectors are crawling through every rusted-out abandoned buildings, plants and dump-heaps they can find.

Wonder when they will get down to inspecting the most probable places like Saddam's "palaces" with their thousand of acres of structures and guarded areas.

Also, inside and under the huge mosques, hospitals and schools. Also, caves and crannies in remote areas where satellite photos have for months, even years, been monitoring and photographing unusual traffic tracks, surreptious construction or other suspicious activity.

I've never yet seen a photo of the inspectors being anywhere but in the places even an idiot like Sadaam wouldn't hide anything.

Maybe the most promising places are not even on the list. Or if they are, they're so far down on the list we'll all be with the 72 virgins before they ever get to them.

Hopefully, a lot more is going on behind the scenes in these inspections we don't know about. The President and his team like to hold the cards close to their vests and then drop the informational daisy-cutter on the nattering skeptics and peaceniks when the crucial time comes.

The deterioration of the infrastructure in your pictures remind me of pictures my nephew took in the USSR right before it folded.

He and a friend illegally visited Russian selling the extra levis they wore to pay and bribe their way.

He showed me the pictures and the deterioration of the infrastructure and buildings was proof that the USSR was on the brink of collapsing.

These photos remind me of my nephew's photos of the USSR before it collapsed.

At least the inspection charade is coming to a close. Soon, W will show that Saddam is a liar (duh!) and enforcement will commence with the removal of a sick evildoer. Bump for our brave troops...

I hope you're not giving away any military secrets. On Page 7 of the table of contents it as B-U. I think it's just a sloppy L (so it's really BLU!) Let's not give away our target locations! (Or, maybe it's just "Blow Up").

Thanks for the great pics.

Those Iraqis....they're a sloppy bunch, aren't they? I always see the inspectors hurdling over tin cans, barrels, crud everywhere. But wait!!! You MUST take off your shoes when entering their homes. I'd be afraid I'd pick up a nail or some glass chards.
