From all the pix you've been posting the past week, Dio, it appears the inspectors are crawling through every rusted-out abandoned buildings, plants and dump-heaps they can find.

Wonder when they will get down to inspecting the most probable places like Saddam's "palaces" with their thousand of acres of structures and guarded areas.

Also, inside and under the huge mosques, hospitals and schools. Also, caves and crannies in remote areas where satellite photos have for months, even years, been monitoring and photographing unusual traffic tracks, surreptious construction or other suspicious activity.

I've never yet seen a photo of the inspectors being anywhere but in the places even an idiot like Sadaam wouldn't hide anything.

Maybe the most promising places are not even on the list. Or if they are, they're so far down on the list we'll all be with the 72 virgins before they ever get to them.

Hopefully, a lot more is going on behind the scenes in these inspections we don't know about. The President and his team like to hold the cards close to their vests and then drop the informational daisy-cutter on the nattering skeptics and peaceniks when the crucial time comes.

Exactly what I have been wondering - The US has satellite intelligence of very active locations, yet the UN "inspectors" have thus far stayed clear of those sites....

Between the team giving notice of "surprise" inspection locations and staying away from currently active plants, the inspectors are bound to declare Iraq in compliance with the UN resolution.

I just don't get why we are even bothering to put up with this farce....
