Tell us how crowded/not crowded it was when you went to vote!

Did you see voter fraud and what is the talk about exit polling and the possible outcome?

My apologies, TBG.
I see JohnnyZ has pretentiously answered your question though.

Oh, I don't know. I have a boss who talks just like that, like he and his peace buddies are going to save the world. It really irritated me at first -- and still does sometimes -- but mostly I am able to laugh him off. Same goes with DU.

By the way, they're soon going to be up to 20,000 members. FR went over 50,000 two years ago.

See, you're trying to be a wiseguy now and talk in the past tense, when everybody else knew that scott from (I forget where) was speaking in the present tense.
Maybe, and this is only a suggestion, you might want to acquaint yourself with some Baptist in between your Zen meditations.

1) Lighten up dude (or dudette?). If you've been following the grammar threads on this post, it's been nothing more than some lighthearted banter while were all waiting for the election results.

2) My freeper name has nothing to do with my religion.

3) The construction of my phrase was exactly the same as the earlier post from left-coast Scott, and was a humorous way of showing you that "before" means "before".

Well, how can Thune run against Daschle when he said in the campaign that SD needed a senator from the Republican party to balance and "work with" Senator Daschle? If Thune couldn't top Johnson, how can he beat the even more entrenched Daschle? Just wondering...

We resemble that remark!

Most of us have been on this thread since 7:00 this morning.

Amen! I think we should have a roll call of everyone who's been here all day and read EVERY post. Wow, what an education--and at least a third of the posts have actually had something to do with the LA election.
