Fox news just gave a report. Said turnout so far in New Orleans is low and fairly high in GOP areas. They warned it will be a very long night.

Yes, I heard that turnout in GOP areas was higher than expected...let's hope this means Republicans are more motivated than the Dems.

Two votes for Suzie! We vote in a rather 'bohemian' precinct; looked like we were outnumbered by "those people", but we whooped it up briefly when we cast our ballot. Worked the phones for a couple of hours this afternoon. The feeling is that turnout is substantial. I'm still optimistic!
