Did you see voter fraud and what is the talk about exit polling and the possible outcome?

I love La politics, if only for its unabashed outrageousness. One of my favorite campaign stories is about Edwin Edwards. When asked by a reporter if he thought he could lose a particular election he's purported to have said, "Only if I'm caught in bed with a live boy or a dead girl."

That preliminary primary had disgustingly few non-blacks turning out in Orleans. That day, nearly 80% of those voting in the city were Black. Today, the range is only about 48 to 58% of the votes cast in Orleans will even BE by Black voters.

Asians are showing up, and you know what that meant in Atlanta.

Here's a little run-down on Senator Edwards, the "centrist democrat":

Voted NO on maintaining ban on Military Base Abortions. (Jun 2000)
Voted NO on banning partial birth abortions. (Oct 1999)
Voted NO on disallowing overseas military abortions. (May 1999)

Voted YES on expanding hate crimes to include sexual orientation. (Jun 2000)

This man's arrogance is too much for me.

Have you heard of Max Cleland (and Mary Landrieu)?

Senator Edwards, you're next

That is the distinguished Senior Haircut from North Carolina, the only college sophomore frat boy in the US Senate.

Between the Boy Scouts and the Abortion thingy, the Haircut will never carry North Carolina again for any office, not Senate, Not President, and Not Vice President.

If only Republicans knew how well they could do, even in the Northeast, if they would just nominate strong Pro Life candidates and then just rub the Dems nose in it till election day.

Did you design the modeling program yourself? Are you an amateur or is this part of your job?

Being pro-life might be a problem in Virginia or New England, with a lot of pro-abortion RINO's (remember how the north Virginia RINO's shafted Ollie), but should be no biggie in the Deep South. I agree the election might be a cliffhanger, 'tho.

Vote early. Vote often. Vote Republican.

He's beginning to make me sick. Beaux used to be more of a moderate. Maybe he's being "instructed" to do this. Anyway, May he get a toothache and shut up!!

"senator loser breaux in on fox now."

He was being a creep too... he couldn't even say Terrell's name... all he could do is refer to her as Mary's opponent...

I live in Cook County, Illinois. Even so, I see no means by which I "will vote for" either Landrieu or Terrell, in the Louisiana U.S. Senate runoff.

Five votes from the October household. The dogs and cats didn't vote but not because they didn't want to.

It's not as cold as I expected. Turn out in the precinct was about the same or a bit higher at the polling place (but I voted earlier that day).
