An FBI decision to assign fewer agents to an ethics training unit "might reasonably be perceived as retaliatory" because of the unit's recent findings of a double standard of discipline for FBI senior executives and the rank and file, two Senate Judiciary Committee members say.

There was no warrant --- according to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals en banc case in 2001 (June or July.)

-----------------------

As I understand it there was a warrant in existence, but it probably was not present. There was no real interest it it in the mood to have a party.

"If I remember correctly the boy was killed by a surveillance submachine gun."

Sounds reasonable -- seems to now be the standard fed weapon.

But he did take the time to loudly and publicly, on national TV, resign from the NRA ...

---------------------------------

Don't get me started. That family is going to be the death of this nation while their hysterical followers celebrate because the Bushs don't have flamboyant sex lives.

"As I understand it there was a warrant in existence, but it probably was not present---"

You are correct -- the court case said the surveillance was for a warrant at a later date -- but the U.S. Marshalls did not have a warrant with them, they were to do surveillance only.

The U.S. Marshalls then had the audacity to ask the court for immunity for making a false report, lying to the grand jury and then lying to the court.[all in the court case].

I guess the false report resulted in the FBI actions.

"There was no real interest it it in the mood to have a party."

That pretty much describes the situation at Waco re warrants and the operation name "Show Time." This whole thing disgusts me, because no one has taken responsibility or been brought to justice in either case, and never will be in our lifetimes.

Whatever the particulars, the events of Ruby Ridge and Waco did not belong in this country. There was a bunch of rogue government agents way off the reservation in a party atmosphere drunked up on power. There has been no concer from three presidents that that was the fact. There has been no accountability. There is no reason to suspect it won't happen again.

What exactly are "jack booted" thugs?

What or where is the term derived from?

Some good books on this subject are: Ambush at Ruby Ridge, Alan Bock, A mountain of lies,- Kirby Ferris, Every Knee Shall Bow, -Jess Walter. If you don't know about what happened on the hill these books will tell you.

There's an FBI agent named John Connolly (AKA Johnny Cannolli) now doing 10 years for covering up for a murder and drug ring run by his informants out of the Boston FBI office.

How he managed to do this ALONE for over 15-20 years without any supervisors ever finding a thing out about this is truly one of the most amazing things ever to happen inside the FBI.

I can't beleive that the FBI wouldn't want their ethics improved

I can't understand why Bush has left Mueller and Tenet and people like Robert J. Jordan in place.

Think back to who was President in 1992. He's protecting Daddy. He can't replace Mueller and Tenet with honest men.
