As I understand it there was a warrant in existence, but it probably was not present. There was no real interest it it in the mood to have a party.
You are correct -- the court case said the surveillance was for a warrant at a later date -- but the U.S. Marshalls did not have a warrant with them, they were to do surveillance only.
The U.S. Marshalls then had the audacity to ask the court for immunity for making a false report, lying to the grand jury and then lying to the court.[all in the court case].
I guess the false report resulted in the FBI actions.
That pretty much describes the situation at Waco re warrants and the operation name "Show Time." This whole thing disgusts me, because no one has taken responsibility or been brought to justice in either case, and never will be in our lifetimes.
