But what I want to know is: How many years has Gary Condit been married to THAT woman?
To: Guillermo
Monaco is actually a very sophisticated country. It certainly isn't a Banana Republic.
To: PAR35
Thanks for the links. I've not followed this case or heard of it.. (I don't read all of the threads/articles posted on FR either)
To: Mixer
:) Yeah, I was just thinking that . . . .
To: Guillermo
The keywords are getting funny.

Who the hell is Maher? Does he have a first or last name and why should I care His name is Ted Maher and he is a military or ex-military guy (vet) that has been accused in Monaco for starting a fire and killing someone of importantance.
From what I recall of the story he was being held on bogus charges and that officals in Monaco have refused to release him or let anyone see him. I think they have held him there for like 3 or 4 years.
There is a thread around here somewhere on FR and he is often prayed for on the Canteen Thread

Ah, yes. Brian and Ruth Christine - so vehemently defended.
Kinda sucked when it turned out that the kids went to her parents in England, destroying the "rich off foster care" argument.

You beat me to it.

Yeah, but they convicted this guy, and he is a veteran.
Bush should have freed him, like the other thread says.
To: Mo1
The guy ADMITTED to starting the fire, so he could look like a hero in the eyes of his boss, after he rescued him.
Or, is the Zionist Jew media making this up?
To: Guillermo
Yeah, but they convicted this guy, and he is a veteran. Plus, he didn't do it. He said so. -oh wait, he confessed. - no, it must have been a forced confessions - uh, well, The Christines were innocent too!
To: job
Absolute morons. Not to jump on your case .. but in all fairness not many have heard of this case and second the title was a but confusing since it only gave a last name ..

Can you pick up Rush through the fillings in your teeth, as well?
You just need to believe the most idiotic, implausible explanation rather than the most obvious, right Fred? You are a kook.

Levinworth is full of veterans.

While it is difficult to see the entire truth on the Maher episode....I don't he is entirely innocent. We may never know the entire story.
To: Mo1
From what I recall of the story he was being held on bogus charges He admitted setting the fire that killed someone. He set the fire, now he should do the time.
American nurse Ted Maher, right, talks with his American lawyer Michael Griffith at Monaco's courthouse Thursday Nov. 28, 2002, during his trial for the arson death of his billionaire employer Edmond Safra on Dec. 3, 1999. Authorities are seeking life in prison for Maher, who claims he never expected the fire he started in a small wastebasket in Safra's luxury Monaco penthouse to rage out of control and kill Safra and another nurse.
