WTF??? You blame the Jewish people for terrorism? You blame victims of terrorism, for the terrorism that kills them?Ummm...No.
Read all of my opinions on this thread and try not to be such a breathless harpie.

You support Israel 100%?Yes. I don't studder when I type, and your eyes don't wabble when you read...You read what I wrote.
And I'm sure that some of your best friend are Jews as well.
Actually, no. But what does that have to do with anything?

That day, Allenby sent World War 1 biplanes over the city of Jerusalem to do a reconnaissance mission. You have to understand that the Turks had at that time never seen an airplane. So there they were, flying around. They looked in the sky and saw these fascinating inventions and did not know what they were, and they were terrified by them. Then they were told they were going to be opposed by a man named Allenby the next day, which means, in their language, ``man sent from God'' or ``prophet from God.'' They dared not fight against a prophet from God, so the next morning, when Allenby went to take Jerusalem, he went in and captured it without firing a single shot. (a_Turk: Turkish World War One aviation FYI )
While that makes a very cute story, the fact is that, at the time of the First, Second and Third Battles of Gaza in March, April and October, 1917, the Turkish forces in Palestine had seen aircraft before for the simple reason that they had their own combat aircraft which were piloted by German aviators.
The Air Battle over Palestine as told in the Kriegs-Chronik der Leipziger Neuesten Nachrichten. January 1917- December 1917
The Turkish Air Service aircraft included Rumpler reconnaissance aircraft as well as, at the time, state-of-the-art Fokker E.III fighters in 1916 and later Albatros D.III fighters in 1917.
The German aviators flying for the Turkish Air Service flew aircraft with the Turkish aviation national insignia which, in World War One, was a black square with a thin white line surrounding it.
Profile illustration of Fokker E.III flown by Hans-Joachim Buddecke, Turkish Air Service, 1916
The photo below is of Hans-Joachim Buddecke, one of the German pilots serving in the Turkish Air Service.
The fact that Jerusalem was made an open city had more to do with the fact that Allenby had a force of 88,000 men and artillery at the gates of Jerusalm after the fall of Gaza rather than the Turkish Army believing that their own aircraft were piloted by Germans but that British aircraft were piloted by Allah.

Can I assume that you believe there would be peace in the ME without the Jews or our support for them? You can't assume anything. I have no idea how the world would be different without the Jews or our support of them.
What is it about their religion that currently foments terrorist activity?
I don't know. But I do know that the current strife in the Middle East is based on Religious differences. That is a fact. And some terrorism has arose because of it. And as stated, I resent that.

We can and will kill a bunch of the b@ast@rds without necessarily causing an Armegeddon apocalypse.I hope we will kill all terrorists and their supporters and end it all forever. And I hope it doesn't cause an apocalypse...But I'm afraid others don't want the same thing. We'll see...

It's bad enough what the Israelis are doing in the occupied landsThat's your opinion
- but why should I have to help pay the cost?
Because it's in our best interest as it pertains to National Security...On a lot of levels. Israel is as valuable of an ally as we have in the world. And they are GOOD at it!! I say double...TRIPLE...QUADRUPLE the aid we give to them. National Defense should be our first fiscal priority as a nation. And personally, I'll give a blank check to those who protect me and my lifestyle.

"The armies of Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon are poised on the borders of Israel...to face the challenge, while standing behind us are the armies of Iraq, Algeria, Kuwait, Sudan and the whole Arab nation. This act will astound the world. Today they will know that the Arabs are arranged for battle, the critical hour has arrived. We have reached the stage of serious action and not declarations."

It is my belief that there is only one way to handle it. We need to demonstrate that we will not tolerate it. Those who use terror tactics must be made to pay in such a way that they will not consider using it again. That, I can't agree with more. Personally, I would like to see Israel (And us, if need be) warn the Palestinians (Or any terrorist group)..."You attack one of us and we'll take a house or two in Palestinian Land and LEVEL IT! And if we find any family members or friends who assisted said terrorist activity, they will be arrested, tried and executed if found guilty". And then keep doing it, like clock work, until the terrorism STOPS. And not until then.
Of course, the U.N. would have a problem with this but screw them!!!

All seven of these reasons are irrelevant. The main reason why Israel is entitled to the land is because they conquored it and they are capable of holding it.

Isn't it amazing that with an opinion like that you can still be called an anti-semite, and be implicated as a holocaust supporter? It's a strange world.
To: LindaSOG
In what language does "due to" not mean "because of" and maybe "both religions" did not mean the religions discussed on this thread and you meant two other religions. Silly me!Rather than just looking to bash me like a breathless harpie, why not consider it this way...
Due to the existance of both religions, and specifically due to their differing views (Muslim Palestinians want to push the Jews into the sea in the name of their religion, and The Jews consider ALL of Israel and Palestine theirs by the word of their God) today's strife exists.
To: marktwain
Israel deserves the land because they have the power and the will to hold it. ... as long as we help them out.

It's a strange world. The only people who have a problem with that opinon are religious bigots, loony leftists, flaming harpies and religious freaks. All of which are easy to identify.

Number Seven, I believe very strongly that we ought to support Israel; that she has a right to the land. This is the most important reason: Because God said so. As I said a minute ago, look it up in the book of Genesis. It is right up there on the desk. This is the only reason that matters. It's the reason I will always support Israel against her enemies, whoever they are.

"... as long as we help them out."
The US has actually restrained Israel.
If we did not hold them back a lot of this business could have been settled long ago.
It is only since the Bush 43 came into the Office that Israel has been able to react with what I consider to be "moderation."
If I were running things over there, Nothing would stop me from settling accounts once and for all.
Violence solves everything.
They should kick the asses of those insane people and get it over with.

There is only one reason a nation will hold her land: Might. Might is right.
You don't think that we would have these united states if the indians could take it back, do you?
To: LindaSOG
The arabs want to kill each and every Israeli man, woman and childNot every "Arab" wants that. That is a racist statement.

Let's treat it like we did the Hutus killing the Tutsis.
