The US has actually restrained Israel.

If we did not hold them back a lot of this business could have been settled long ago.

It is only since the Bush 43 came into the Office that Israel has been able to react with what I consider to be "moderation."

If I were running things over there, Nothing would stop me from settling accounts once and for all.

It does make you think what the history of the mideast would be like if we just made Israel give the Sinai back once, not twice, and let IDF capture Bagdhad, Amman, Damascus, Cairo and perhaps Riyadh. Beirut too.

Would have put a dent in the rise of the Wahhabis.
