I cannot wait for the show trial when some sickenly obese African "leader" stands in front of the judges laying out the case against the "West." We can only hope that new leadership arises soon and takes the place of our gated community residing empire builders so in effect we don't become bush meat for "oppressed."

Mugabe has already said that he need 6 mil less populous to be solvent (read, get rid of my enemies). He won't give the food to those who are starving. Maybe Kofi could make a personal appearance in Zim to underscore the problem? That will happen about the time Clinton admits having known Flowers.

The mass media cannot report this problem because it would reveal then require that they say something bad about Africans. Better to let them starve quietly.

I think it is time for all the Rat Presidential contenders to visit this African paradise on a fact-finding mission to see socialism in action.

If the end up in the village cooking kettle they would at least be doing their part to alleviate hunger. ;-)

How ironic, I just looked up from the computer to see that Shaka Zulu is currently on the History Channel.

Worst famine is a bit shy of an adequate description, wouldn't you say?

Destruction of farms and crops = planned food shortage = deliberate famine?

What is this? Why do none call it by its true name? MASS MURDER!

"Last week, a local food security monitoring organisation warned that half of all Zimbabwean households had run out of all food stocks, while the rest had less than one month's supply left.

If this is accurate, there has been a turn for the worse, even as desperate as the situation has been.

If even the favored sector of the population has less than one months supply of food on hand, your predicted gotterdamarung is imminent.

May I say that the ruling sector and its cronies thought they could exempt themselves from hunger, but it appears otherwise. It could not happen to a more deserving plutocracy.
