Since the Canteen is a "Home Away From Home" for our military lurkers
I think it's time we start creating a Holiday atmosphere.
Let the Holiday Season begin!

"USMC gunfight rules"

"21.The faster you finish the fight, the less shot up you will get."

I like these rules. The Navy ones are interesting.

Safe F-16s

If one of these does get fired after the "safe"is off, I assume one is just as dead?

Guess I missed the sleigh ride, huh? I'm trying to figure out just when my family became somewhat nightowls. They used to go to bed early. LOL!

I'm fading fast. Haven't made it to bed before 2am since I've been here. It's about caught up to me. So I think I'll say my good nights, and be gone shortly. Thanks ms feather for all you do for the Canteen and the troops. Good night and sleep well and God bless you good.

Good night, sleep well, and God bless you for your service to our country, both those years ago, and now in the Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Canteen. Congratulations again on your history making event with the Coast Guard. I am proud of you. They saw the determination in you to serve your country once again. *HUG*

We always did fly half baked!!

With that, I cannot argue. LOL! That's what makes it fun. Oh well, at least I didn't miss it tonight. I've missed enough wild rides this week.

I guess everyone's pooped from the holiday....too much food, too much football, etc. I'm pooped from too much company. Gotten used to solitude and am just not used to having so many others around. I probably won't last a lot longer tonight but I'll try. :-)

Good night, Kathy. Get a good night's rest. Thanx for taking such good care of the troops each day, and of the Canteen.

If history teachers do not know the history of this nation, how can they teach the students?

That's a question I've been asking for years.

Well rad tell you what, I'll see if I can dig up a driver okay? Maybe a short hee haw around the Canteen will do it for us!

You grab that food and drinks, load that stuff in the sled.
I'll dig around for some fabulous reindeer or some horses, then the driver, oh my what will she come up with next??

The great mystery of the night is about to be solved!

You could flap around a bit here and there looking for country lanes, snow laden paths, some pond scenes,
you know the old fashioned sleigh ride stuff.

How's that sound! I'm tired to radu, but I figure I can latch on to your wings for a little boost! LOL
