On the eve of Thanksging we paused to remember those who are overseas.
Many of our service men and women will be spending their 1st Thanksgiving
away from home, family and friends.
Today military stationed in the continental United States will be celebrating Thanksgiving.
It is because of their devotion to duty, honor and country
that we will be able to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Yes, and since I'm not at my own computer, I'm still learning this one. It's brand new, and I like it, but I'm not sure why it freezes. And it's a new system and works a little different than mine. And the rest of the house is asleep by 9p, so I need to be real quiet. BUT I AM NOT COMPLAINING!!!! I HAVE COMPUTER ACCESS!!

Cote! I'm so glad you stopped by the Canteen today. I wish I'd been here at the time.
"More Than a Name on a Wall" is excellent...I'd not heard it before. Thank you for posting it.

Oh boy, a brand new computer to learn, huh? I can certainly sympathize with that! LOL!! I'll never figure this thing we have out. If it ever freezes, I'll have no clue what to do. Yes I do....I'll call Dell! hahahaha! You'll just get used to that one and when you get home, you'll have to learn yours all over again.
I wish everyone here had been asleep by 9:00 tonight. I really wanted to be here a LOT earlier than I managed. Oh well.

Good morning to you! Yes, our Thanksgiving was a very good one. I had some kind of last-minute out-of-town folks come here but I was thrilled to have them.
Hope things are going well your way these days. It's been a while since I've seen you. I'm really glad to see you!

I'm sitting here laughing at myself. After reading all the goodies you had for the cruise in that awesome limo (which I missed, dang it!) I actually got hungry! I didn't think I'd want to
look at food for a couple of days. LOL!
I wish I'd been able to get here sooner to go "stylin' " in that limo with all you Girlz and the troops.

I'll take that 80 degrees any day, happilly! Enjoy it while you can. You'll be heading back up north soon. Maybe it'll snow when you get home. I know you're looking forward to it. :-))

I want all of you posters here to know that you fill my heart with joy for the good things you do for the GIs and Vets and the folks back home. We are in this together. I echo those sentiments at 120 db's! And you are most definitely included. :-))

Mmmmmm, that fire looks mighty inviting on this cold Nov. night. Thank you for providing such cozy warmth each evening. I know the troops enjoy this taste of home.

WRONG!! I'm awake! Well, ok, barely. I've had about 11 hours sleep the last 3 days combined. LOL! I've been reading the thread and talking to my hubby, who just woke up.
How are you?!! It's great to see you back!!

That is chilly for Florida. My Dad came up this week from the Ft. Walton area and we barely made it to 40 yesterday. It's 26 outside right now. BRRRRRRRRR! 50 degrees sounds toasty to me right now. It probably does to Dad, too. hahahahaha!
I can believe MuShu does enjoy this weather, with all that hair the heat's got to be rough.
I'll see you later today. The bats are really rustling in my belfry now.
