You sir, have it exactly right.

It's an additional crime to be working here. These people need to be rounded up and deported. Remember President Eisenhower? He did it. What's wrong with this administration?
The Mexican government say's it's not, and it believes it now has authority over us.
I could not agree more,
Let's help them out by totally banning immigration from Mexico, sending back all those "job seeking" wet backs, and dropping pamphlets telling them just how they might go about fixing their own damn place before infecting ours.
I lived several years in and around Tucson, including a stint in Sierra Vista, I still have family living south of San Antonio, and I truely Hate to see this happening.
PS: Oh, by the way, since I now live in Los Angeles I'd be happy to provide authentic Huarachis, clever wood carvings, or odd spmelling leather work to anyone deprived of access to down-town Tijuana, it's moved to Broadway just below city hall.
Weasel Words alert: No, the Aztlan people want to create a new country out of a big chunk of the American southwest, not return it to Mexico.
WRONG!!! The rights we enjoy as American citizens are ours because we ARE citizens. An illegal alien is NOT a citizen of the USA, and therefore cannot have the same rights as a citizen, otherwise, the rights are of no value at all. If a person has full rights regardless of whether or not they've broken laws, then there can be no real penalty for crime, because a penalty requires that certain rights be taken away or suspended because they committed a crime. The Bill of Rights does not grant rights, it protects rights that are universal against the intrusion and violation of government. What most people refer to as "Rights" today are actually privileges, which can be conferred or withheld. To say that an illegal alien has the same Consitutional Rights as an American citizen is to say that citizenshiop does not matter, only your location on the planet matters. That's ludicrous!
It is not a crime to seek work, but it IS a crime to enter the USA illegally in order to do so, and it IS a crime to work if they are here illegally.
Funny how misplaced compassion for illegal aliens is supposed to trump laws that are already on the books, which need to be enforced. The solution to illegal aliens is to deport them, plain and simple! What part of the laws regarding illegal aliens being illegal don't these people understand?
The Aztlan people are all Chicanoes who are getting free money for college and aren't likely to really cut themselves off from Washington DC handouts. It'd take a long time to find one of these types who actually worked their own way through college. They're not the brightest though ---they may actually believe all that federal money is just "there".
Mexico has more consulates in the U.S. than any other country. They're everywhere, and they are nothing more than neighborhood invasion stations. The U.S. should never have allowed that hostile, despicable nation to set up so many of them on our soil. After Marxist Castaneda's remark, they should be ordered closed and their obnoxious staffs removed from the country within a few days.
-------------------------
That depends upon what the meaning of "is" is. Technically she is right. Mexico needs the invaded lands to remain a political portion of the United States to access federal funds and the power of federal office. But the area will become a de facto demographic and cultural part of Mexico that has the capacity to tax the United States.
It's a great idea.
Too bad this will never happen
The government has no sincere interest in stopping illegals
If they did, the problem would be solved
The facts speak for themselves
Did he just make this up? OH, just make the law up as you go along...what the heck. Illegals are not "harmed" by being detained for the border patrol, not at all.

I think this is the major problem right here. If our elected officials will not order the LEO's to enforce the immigration laws, then these illegal immigrants must be invitees! When the citizen vigilantees attempt to enforce the immigration laws they must be going against the wishes of our elected officials. Correct? If so then we need mass recall elections. I would suggest starting with the President, all members of Congress and the Senate, our spineless State Governors and State legislators.
We need elected officials who will follow the Constitution and their Oath of Office!!!
We need to start insisting on reciprocal treatment if we are to be expected to yield an inch to illegal migrants. If U.S. citizens end up in Mexico without legal authorization they need to be eligible for assistance; free health care; an easy path to citizenship; automatic citizenship for offspring born there; a minimum wage equivalant to the U.S. wage; and property ownership. If this treatment is assured to those who cross the border into Mexico it will encourage upright people to bring their skills and knowledge and will be a tremendous help to Mexico. How about it Senoras Castillo y Garcia?
