BATON ROUGE -- Sen. Mary Landrieu, whose victory hopes hinge on being able to energize black voters, got a boost Saturday night from famed civil rights leader Jesse Jackson.

Jackson said Landrieu is the best U.S. Senate candidate to help improve the lot of poor people in Louisiana, one of the poorest states in the nation.

Can you provide a source for when the Communist Party of the Soviet Union endorsed ol' Peanut Malaise Carter? I need that to show a wavering Dem friend of mine, perhaps that will put him over the edge to become a Republican.

Thank you.

Let's see how those middle-class moderate Democrat voters respond to the urgings of this guy... It's fun watching the Demos rip themselves apart.

I wondered when the democrazies would bring in race as an issue. If Mississippi is the poorest, where does that leave ole Robert C. Bryd, his dog Blue and the state of WV 49th?

Anyone seen a viable poll on the runoff after Jesse's gig? Amazingly, we elected the first pubbie governor in 40 years here in Hawaii thanks to "slick willies" appearance prior to the election. Even dem pollsters noted a 10 point swing to Linda Lingle immediately after Sir William the Impeached threw his phony support to Mazie Hirono.

Bring on the scum dem leadership to endorse Mary's campaign....they will awake the sleeping dragon.

Jesse's baby is a fine example of the black community 70% out-of-wedlock birthrate and the break-down of the family.

"but it will more than likely energize the whites"

Bingo!

It'll come down to the "Cajun-Americans" vs. "Afro-Americans." This is not the the way Republicans are handicapping this race, it's those nasty and wretched "divide-American's-at-all-costs to win" Democrats playing the game this way." I don't at all hear the Suzy Terrell camp say, "we've got to turn out the white vote or we're toast." Democrats continue to "polararize" while Republicans continue to "unite."

People are waking up to jesse. Ain't it grand? I can see the blacks in our nation making strides like crazy in the new few years-now that so many of their so called leadership (plantation foremen) are falling into disarray. These jerks have kept our black minority (so many anyway), dumbed down, dependent, dispirited, victemized and feeling inferior. They don't WANT American black people to feel like 'Americans'. When that happens, these elite slobs lose their money, their power, their livlihood and are fully exposed for what they are-race baiting extortionists who have gotten rich convincing those less fortunate to be angry and less than equal.

That said...I certainly hope Landrieu calls in billy klinton, hillary klinton, tommy daschle, maxine waters, louis farrakhan, sheila jackson lee and al sharpton to help her out.....nothing like some sunshine to help voters make up their mind.

I also can't help but think that the "boost" Jackson gives Landrieux is spelled "kiss of death". Ah, well, as long as they never learn, it works for me!

Jesse "kiss of death" Jackson is at least as bad a political plague as Bill Clinton. Landrieu has a political tin ear, and is still living in pre 9/11 America. She is toast. Thank you Jesse (Ben is my favorite Jackson RAT song) for exterminating one more democRAT.

Guess his job is to herd black voters to the democratic cause. Makes me wonder, has he been like the rooster taking credit for the sunrise in delivering 90% black support for Democrats, or is he really a factor? Does anyone track surveys of likely black voters to ask Are they more or less likely to a) vote at all, or b) vote Democratic, as a result of Jesse's presense? I think he's just a noisy rooster myself.

Jackson is being sued by another Afro-American organization which claims he doesn't have the right to call himself the "leader" of black America. He has not been elected to anything and they are claiming that he is not "their" leader. They are also claiming that he is using this misnomer for the purposes of extortion and contributions and the money isn't going to black causes.

This group, through suing him in the courts, might do the job O'Reilly failed to do--get Jackson to have to open up his books for an audit.
