Mexico to campaign to legalize workers

11/23/02

MEXICO CITY -- Mexico's foreign minister, Jorge Castaneda, said his country would begin a "bottom-up campaign" to win U.S. public support for a proposal to legalize 3.5 million undocumented Mexican workers in the United States.

Castaneda said Mexican officials will begin rallying unions, churches, universities and Mexican communities.

"What's important is that American society sees a possible migratory agreement in a positive light," Castaneda said. "We are already giving instructions to our consulates that they begin propagating militant activities -- if you will -- in their communities."

It's jerkoffs like you who keep electing criminals like Teddy.

I complain about the US being overrun by illegal immigrants. Teddy is a champion of immigrants (legal and illegal) and is the single biggest enabler. And you accuse me of voting for him? What are you smoking?

Yes, it is too much for me to clean my house. Why should I have to? And I do only hire legal citizens. They happen to be of Hispanic origin.

If you only hire legal immigrants why do you care about granting guest status to the illegal ones as you asserted in your original post? You want to drive down the cost of cheap labor even further? What a mean ba$tard you are.

Glad to hear you're just as stupid as ever.

Why because I am supporting a Tancredo for President drive? If that is so then there are a lot of stupid people on this thread.

This is outright treason by this administration.

So Bush should be tried for a capital crime?

But I believe a sitting president cannot be tried for a capital crime

Treason is a capital crime with death as a punishment. So if Bush has committed treason he is subject to capital punishment. But then again every president in history would also be guilty of the same crime.

If the law says treason ought to be punished by the death penalty,

So you would have no problem in putting Reagan and Bush on trial for treason and having them executed?
