FReeper ohioWfan has sent me the following message ...
"After an intense struggle to breathe that lasted more than 24 hours, Dad died this morning of 'Monster pneumonia.' His pain is over. He has been reunited with my mom and sister, his parents and all his siblings.
We have suffered the great loss of a great man, and a good friend. We will be together again some day, but the pain is enormous. We will be celebrating a Memorial Service for him on his 86th birthday on Sunday.
God is our comfort and support."
Please join me in offering prayers of support, strength, and peace for ohioWfan and her family.

Lord God, may the thick comfort of your Holy Spirit wrap each member of this family in Your arms; in Your Peace that passes understanding; in your direction and guidance in the days and months ahead; in Your affirmation and understanding--in all the best you would have for them, in Jesus' Name.

All humanity is of one Author, and is one volume; when one dies, one chapter is not torn out of the book, but translated into a better language; and every chapter must be so translated; God employs several translators; some pieces are translated by age, some by sickness, some by war, some by justice; but Gods hand is in every translation, and his hand shall bind up all our scattered leaves again for that library where every book shall lie open to one another.

I'm not very good at public prayer; I'm a Catholic - LOL! But please rest assured that I am, indeed, praying for you and your father. My he rest in peace and my God grant you grace to get you through this trying time.
I have not lost either of my parents yet but I have lost a brother and I know the pain of grief. It may seem impossible but time does heal all wounds. God bless you Ohio.
And come back to the Dose soon, k?

May you know the sure presence of our God who promised never to leave us or forsake us. May you know the Comforter as He is there to bring healing during these days of grief and mourning. Praise God for the wonderful legacy you are priviledged to inherit. In the name of Jesus, amen...
