Members of the USS DECATUR DDG 73 come here often to lurk.
In fact they "know" many of us in here.
So I thought it would be nice to "dock" their ship in the USO Canteen today.

WHATEVER! Just another one of those annoying things they put on boats/ships that is completely irrelevant to the average person. LOL!! DRIVE AWAY! Oh! Hold on! I need to wear something comfortable. I need to go search my closet for my jammies! I want to be comfortable. *HUGS*

Good idea on the jammies! Think I'll go get my gray sweats and put them on. I've got a real cute pink windbreaker that will look good with them.
OK got 'em on...and feel comfy! I have on my duck slippers...they'll help me swim in case we get dipped into the drink....You look real good there, Mo! Are those elephant slippers I see you wearing in honor of Prez W?
Disregarding irrelevant boat dingus and starting the engines now!

Jammies we are wearing our jammies?? Oh dear I need a new pair so badly. I sent them out to the dry cleaners and you all know what happens there, yeah, they can fit a 6 year old now!!
What am I to do???

For those who dont know what it is, here is the recipe for PINK PIE:
WARNING: THIS IS HIGHLY ADDICTIVE, AND YOU MAY NOT LIKE ME ANYMORE AFTER YOU TRY THIS!!
2 small containers of pink lemonade
small container of Kool Whip
container of Eagle Brand condensed milk
pie crust...I usually use the prepared graham cracker kind
Combine the cool whip and the Eagle Brand, then fold in the pink lemonade....place into pie crust (you might need two of the pie crusts, if you dont put your face in the pink stuff while preparing)....can eat right away or chill and serve later
