Alright...new topic!!
Smart move! LOL
I saw the same problem here when stop_the_rats was raked over the coals by the media and they were not there to advise her. If anything, it seemed that they distanced themselves without even bothering to find out the facts.
Dean Gardner, a pro-marriage candidate from Bakersfield, is in court trying to get a fair count of ballots. In the race for the 30th Assembly District, which stretches from Fresno County to Kern County, Gardner is only 165 votes behind Nicole Parra, a pro-homosexual Democrat activist. Since Election Day, the registrars of voters in four counties have been counting absentee and provisional ballots, and Gardner wants to make sure that no one voted improperly. But Parra - whose United Farm Worker supporters reportedly registered 15,000 new voters before Election Day - is claiming "voter privacy" and has filed a lawsuit to block Gardner. It's amazing. First Parra disingenuously said she supports marriage - yet she also supports "civil unions" and refused to sign the Marriage Protection Pledge! Now Parra says she wants fair elections - yet she's trying to block accurate counting of votes. The week before the election, CCF held three very successful news conferences in the district to inform voters where the candidates stand on the protection of marriage. This race was another missed opportunity. Trice Harvey, Central Valley vice-chair for the state Republican Party, said, "The Republican caucus (of legislators in Sacramento) feels bad" about not thinking Gardner could win and giving him hardly any money. In contrast, CCF knew this contest in the south Central Valley could be very close. But we never imagined this moral battle would still be here two weeks after Election Day!
Go, Gardner!!! If he pulls this off, it will be a miracle beyond belief. Such intrigue and back-room shenanigans by the democRATS! For victory & freedom!!!

Lou, would a map of the US with markers added periodically to implement this idea be doable? I will start a "red flag" list which I will post each time. If you could illustrate it, that would be great.
No kidding. But what I'm wondering is why this isn't in the news?! I have sent a few emails to try and drum up some interest but why should I have to do that? I'm a great big NOBODY. Why on earth isn't the local news media interested in this story? Well, Duh! I forgot for a second there that the media hates Republicans and tries to cover the rear-ends of every democrap they can find. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The Kern County elections department gave voter information to Republicans Thursday as Dean Gardner continues to try and to cut into Democrat Nicole Parra's slim lead for the 30th District Assembly seat, KERO reported.
The Gardner camp was given the names, addresses and phone numbers of the 388 voters who cast provisional ballots, according to KERO 23. Gardner said that he is looking for evidence of possible voter fraud, including whether any voters cast two ballots.
But he doesn't have much time to make a case. Election officials plan to begin counting the ballots Friday morning and Gardner must have any challenges in by then, according to KERO 23.
However the outcome, local officials said that the conflict between Gardner and Parra has been bad for the system. As of Thursday afternoon, the Secretary of State's office had Parra in the lead by 177 votes, KERO 23 reported.

Judge orders release of voters' identities
By Kim Baca , Associated Press
A Fresno County Superior Court judge ordered Wednesday the release of the names and addresses of 154 voters who cast provisional ballots in Fresno County for the 30th Assembly District. Judge Gary S. Austin ruled the release of provisional voter's names, home telephone numbers and signatures were public record, and lifted a stay issued Monday that stopped the counting process.
LOL...yes I do...MUD
Nicole Parra, his Democratic opponent, asked for an injunction to stop Salazar from releasing the information to Gardner. Fresno County Superior Court Judge Gary S. Austin continued the matter until Wednesday.
"I've filled out a basic request for public information, and now my opponent is suing to block me, which makes me very suspicious," Gardner said. "What is it that she doesn't want me to find out?"
Parra declined to comment, but in court filings said the Gardner campaign will use the provisional ballot information "to harass and intimidate Fresno County voters about their vote in the November 2002 election."
Now, that's an interesting argument, Gardner's HARASSING AND INTIMIDATING voters!!!! Gee, does this sound familiar to anyone?
