I keep thinking of that old record of Shatner doing "Rocket Man" & "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds." For real? And I thought I was a Trekie. I have Leonard Nimoy singing the Ballad of Bilbo Baggins. It's my most valuable album. I bet Nimoy would pay me big bucks just to keep others from hearing it. :^)

Dashole is a BIRDWHACKER ! Now you may ask what a " birdwhacker " is ...Well , this is a term of my own invention ...and it is a cross between a birdbrain and a whacko ...I am hoping to get the term included in Webster's dictionary someday . So all you Freepers out there start using the work OK ?

While Tommy and the boys are talking about Rush Limbaugh (because he is a household name), I think the real threat to them is Free Republic. Gore has made it a point the last week to repeat how tramatized he and Gorettes were by those who were shouting, "Get out of Cheney's house." (freepers)
When Tommy was talking about those who listen (translate=read on the Internet) and then become active, I'm thinking, "You bet! All those decades of passive sitting back and letting you libs ruin the country are coming to an end, and not a moment too soon." I had the pleasure of freeping at our State Capital prior to the 2000 election three week-ends in a row. Action (that which is protected by the first amendment) makes a difference and the dimwits know it. Don't you love it when they throw gasoline on the fire.
Makes me wonder what they would have said about those "activists" who threw tea into the Boston Harbor -- our blessed freeping ancestors.

Yes, I saw that as well and had very similar thoughts. I recently read about each of the signers and the price they paid (death, bankruptcy, poverty, etc.). Frankly, as a veteran I think we are currently a "little soft in the belly."
