Never - as long as he brings home the bacon.

Putting Hillary in a higher position seems like a very calculated move. I think she may be running for president, afterall.
I also think having Hillary out there is a bonus for the GOP! Much like Pelosi.
I read that Corzine is going to head up the Dems fundraising efforts. Isn't it nice to have a multibillionaire on your team. Sheesh...he spent $65 million of HIS OWN MONEY to buy his senate seat. The Dems are the party of the little people...yeah, right.

This is a great win for manufacturers and a huge loss for the trial lawyer lobby. Thanks for all your many explanations! This all had confused me. But the above quote (I forget by whom) really explains more to me about the "Daschole" Amendment, which I was unaware of this being what was voted upon today. I am glad he has been defeated, yet again. I can only hope there's more and more to come!

I will never trust him...never. McCain is full of himself. His arrogance makes me ill. The media darling strikes again! The media bias this morning was so blatant that I was glad I had not eaten breakfast! I hope the American people are beginning to see them for what they are!

I have to change the channel or turn it off-when Byrd starts talking-- You can usually figure it's going to be a longggggggggggggggggggg speach-when he starts.
Mr. Gramm will be missed by many-- Good he is going to go spend some time with his family though-- he earned it! :o))

No way she will vote against it now. The dems now know it will pass, so they will want to be seen as voting for homeland security. It will pass with a land slide vote.
To: Wait4Truth
Kennedy not in town, and not paired? I think that means the Dems knew this was going down to defeat. They just went through the motions to keep the trial lawyers happy.

McCain is up in 2004. Anyone know if he will be challenged? My personal hope is that he will just retire. He needs some rest, ya know?

the RATS are transparent. The usual suspects voted against Homeland Security...they know they won't pay a price with their liberal America-hating constituents.

The media is going to have a hissy fit over GWB winning this important vote. They tried all morning on Good Morning America to denounce the House and label the president as the puppet of special interests. What scheming, dirty bastards our networks are. Yes, it was totally pathetic!

McCain needs to pay a price for this little stunt today... Well, there is the little matter of his chairmanship of the Commerce Committee.

I am hoping we can get enough of a margin in the Senate in 2004 to make him unimportant. The media loves him because they can say, will lookie here, even the republicans are disagreeing with Bush.
He is eaten up with jealousy. He won't even say he won't run for president in 2004. He needs therapy to get over the fact he didn't win. And he can take Gore with him.

Boxer and her cronies voted no...no surprise. Schumer just voted NO.
To: Wphile
Mclame will be lucky to be alive in 2004. Cancer second time around is very nasty.

Liberal journalists are saying he will run against Bush in 04 as a RAT or Independent. If he does, we need to wipe him off the face of the earth with our votes.
