Missing Adult, HELP NEEDED (crime in progress?) [SC]
Missing Adult family member -- thread on TimeBomb2000 Forum ^ | 11/15/02 | Prairie Lady

Posted on 11/15/2002 12:02:43 PM PST by Cascadians

This is an urgent plea for help from Prairie Lady; these are her posts: [copied]

I JUST got off the phone with my neice. It seems my sister (her mother) is missing since yesterday between 3pm and 4:40pm yesterday from the SouthCarolina area.

She headed north as far as we can track, but then nothing. This is TOTALLY uncharacteristic of her.

We need to know if she is on her own willingly making decisions, or if she has been abducted and is in need of help. Is there anybody from that area that can help?
----------------------

ok, she spoke to hubbie from home via phone about 3 pm yesterday afternoon. She left home at that time saying she was headed for her local walmart near Aynor South Carolina..I don't know the exact town...maybe conroe or something? She never made it to walmart. Survaliance tapes show she never went in there. She withdrew some money from the bank locally. She put gas in her car at the north carolina / south carolina state line (cherry creek). She withdrew a BUNCH of money in Raliegh Durham North Carolina. She spoke to her daughter at 4:30 saying she was going christmas shopping and that she would be late. But she never made it home.

If she had any inclinations to leave home, she never indicated it, and she would NOT be heading NORTH!!

She is 5'7 inches tall, LONG legs, 150 lbs, has very short medium brown hair. lots of freckels, hazel eyes. Driving a Dark Blue BMW 4 door with a mini antennea on the driver's side on the post between the door and the windshield, licence plate # 845HLG
----------------------
Go ahead and post it at freeps..thanks
----------------------

My brother in law is former military police. He made a call to the police and is tracking bank usage which is showing itself to be very abnormal such as numerous attempts to use the various cards but rejects due to wrong pin numbers. He's requested survalance tapes from the banks as well. She was supposed to go to walmart, but walmart survaliance tapes show she never made it there. So, hes compiling stuff to show that something IS very wrong.

Also, she talked to her daughter AFTER one of the cash drafts and said someting weird to her daughter...like I love you...and she NEVER says that to THAT daughter.

Anyway, I didn't want to put all this on the boards...

This is too weird.

Can someone contact Greta Van Susteran, she is the one that has been reporting on the 4 missing college students in Wisconsin and I forget the other state. This could be terror related, kidnapping is one of the things in their handbook. Sorry, to say, but it is. But regardless of who it is, its still terror.

More robberies, many at gunpoint

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Police seek help to find suspect

The Cincinnati Enquirer

The suspect in the Corryville robbery-shooting is described as a black man, dark-skinned, 25-35 years old, 6 feet tall, 215 pounds.

Robberies - many of them at gunpoint - continue to increase throughout Cincinnati, with detectives looking for help to solve an unusual one in which the victim had part of a finger shot off.

The highest profile gunpoint robbery happened Oct. 17, when Cincinnati Councilman David Pepper was robbed at gunpoint outside his Mount Adams home, then driven around the city for 45 minutes while his abductors tried to get more money from ATMs.

There has been no arrest in the Pepper incident.

In the case where the victim lost his finger, police on Friday released a sketch of the suspect who approached John Buckley, 22, as he got out of his car last weekbehind his house on Euclid Avenue in Corryville. The robber took Mr. Buckley's wallet and fired a shotgun at him. Within a half hour of the 11:40 p.m. robbery, the robber tried to use the man's debit card at an ATM inside a west-side convenience store.

The Corryville incident was unusual for several reasons, said Detective Joy Ludgatis: the robber used a shotgun, not a handgun; he was fairly well-dressed in a leather dress coat; and he seemed unfazed by the fact that he shot his victim.

"I think that's the scary part,'' the detective said. "If he'll do that, then what else would he do?''

Mr. Buckley and a witness described the suspect as black, dark-skinned, 25 to 35, 6 feet tall and about 215 pounds. He wore a nylon head covering during the robbery, but had a baseball cap on at the ATM.

Police ask anyone with information about the suspect to call Crime Stoppers at 352-3040.

I'm doubting that the Durham carjacking was related... I mean would they carjack someone in the Raleigh area ... then go down to SC and carjack another person... and then go BACK to the Raleigh area? That would be so dumb.

Hmmmm... maybe that means it's possible... these people aren't the smartest.

Does anyone here know what the most popular "Trucker" and "Rv'er" bulletin boards are?

I don't know if they can help, but you might try the "Good Sam" site for RVers.
