A gentle breeze and balmy weather greeted the Mid-Missouri FReepers this morning, relaxing the tensions of the past year. Funny words, balmy which means mild and pleasant, and the word balm which is a pleasing ointment that heals. The mid-term elections certainly proved to be a balm pulling America together decisively, and relegating the peaceniks agenda back to its hole from which it had emerged. No doubt the peaceniks will still be there every Saturday trying to recapture their glory, but their message is now irrelevant!
Over 30 anti-American leftists stood at the Columbia, Missouri Post Office this morning with their messages soundly defeated. So are they. Three Missouri FReepers may have well been 300 for the responses this morning
dozens of thumbs up. The major difference in the response was the enthusiasm in delivery, often exuberant, always proud. We almost expected a certain Mrs. C to arrive to join the peaceniks now that she is unemployed, soon to be homeless, and in the middle of a career change.
The peaceniks are the far left, however, and the other liberals will soon join them in showing their true agenda for the rest of the country to see. Missouri has seen the light and thrown the lefty notions away. God bless America, our troops, and our President. With the peacenik crowd now a hopeless non-topic, may we say Happy Veterans Day to our Veterans, and Happy Birthday to our Marines (Semper Fi)! What a wonderful Nov. 11th this year! Thanks guys!

The fella in the black coat and hat is the one we're referring to.
"Raiders of the Lost Ark" is a fun movie. I have a copy on tape and watch it periodically.

We need to pick a day for all of the Missouri Freepers to show up in Columbia and waaaaay outnumber the leftist appeasers (and thus scare the wee out of them). :-) -Scott in KC

luv you guys. great job. May God Bless our military!!!!!

You all looked great out there today and their side actually
does look defeated from the looks on their faces and
their body language! I guess they know from the election
earlier this week that Americans really don't support them,
not that all of us didn't already know that, but it's nice
they know it now. Missed you guys the last couple of
weeks, see you next week.

Hey, we still outnumbered them. Eric (USAF) said in his Monday MAIL CALL message that we had a thousand military with each one of us in spirit, ergo, we were 3000 in spirit to ONLY thirtythree of them. PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL QUALITY ON OUR SIDE OF THE STREET AND PHYSICAL QUANTITY ON THEIR SIDE.
Blue, excellent day today. I loved the shouts of praise for our side and the many, many thumbs up. It was great.
Bret and Dogrobber, we missed you both today and eagerly await your return.
EARLY HAPPY VETERAN'S DAY TO EVERYONE.

Congratulations and condolences, Columbia-ites!
Congrats on a great Freep today.
And condolences on your home team's nailbiter overtime loss today to my Alma Mater team - the CU Buffs!
And most of all, congratulations and a HUGE thank you for replacing Carnahan with Talent! Yeah!!!!

This thread tonight will be quietly dedicated to you, my friends...Zip and Bret, and others whom we will honor on 11-11-02. And you Prov, who stand with us through it all. Hope that we can someday thank you, and all our veterans, in a heartfelt way.
If not for you, those peaceniks would not be allowed to do what they do. If not for our veterans, we couldn't enjoy one minute of one day, ever! If not for you, our breathing would be in slavery, and our dreams all nightmares!
THANK YOU Bret and Zip.
THANK YOU Veterans of all wars.
THANK YOU troops.
God bless you.

They also serve to stand beside or behind our military. Never forget that.

Thanks again, Missouri FReepers, for a job well done showing the peaceniks that there are people who honor our troops.
