"CPAC is designed to advance important everyday issues such as taxes, crime, culture and foreign policy and to provide basic conservative viewpoints and solutions. The 30th annual CPAC will be a three-day event beginning Thursday, January 30, 2003 through Saturday, February 1, 2003. The conference will once again take place at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia and provide a comprehensive program of speeches, forums and panel discussions. As always, CPAC will feature recognized national elected officials, leaders and grassroots activists from around the country."
CPAC 2003 is almost upon us: January 30 through Feb 1 in Arlington, VA. Free Republic will have a booth in the exhibit hall, hosted and funded by the Free Republic Network. RadioFR will be broadcasting!
Earlybird registration ends on December 1, so REGISTER TODAY!!!! BE SURE TO TELL THEM YOU ARE WITH FREE REPUBLIC WHEN YOU REGISTER!
- Attend seminars and panels hosted by noted conservatives
- Talk to your favorite conservative personalities and politicians
- Ask questions in the panel sessions

- MOST IMPORTANTLY: MEET AND GREET OTHER FREEPERS (and future freepers!)

Who gets the free cruise for organizing this ? We should be so lucky.
CPAC is a pure expense for the FRN -- one of the reasons we need fundraisers like the cruises.
My own CPAC perk is the opportunity to have the FR booth in my utility room for a couple of months...
The cats will be amazed.

Free cruise? No one is getting a free cruise.
If you know how I can get this cruise free, please let me know!

I already registered for CPAC. Hope to see you there. Give me a ping if we are all going to meet to go out to dinner on Wednesday night.
By the way I will be attending both the Ronald Reagan and Presidential Dinners. If the freepers are going to get some tables together let me know. Would love to join you.

Jim, Sure hope to see you at CPAC. If you can take the
train down to DC. I am taking the train down on Wed. You can get a round trip ticket from Phila. to DC for under $125. The hotel prices are about 140 a night, if you can find another freeper to share a double with it will be under $70 a night.

Great! There will be a dinner on Wednesday night, details forthcoming (as soon as we figure out where to have it, which will be anywhere other than the hotel sports bar.) I'll keep you updated.

No CPAC or FRN cruise organizer gets a "free cruise".
Please refer to the "Freeps Ahoy" announcement thread for information on this fantastic freeper get-together voyage to the sunny Caribbean!

LOL, yes I remember the wait we had at the Sports Bar last year. I wonder if they were Dem's managing the bar that night?

I'd like to make it, but I don't think I can afford it right now.

Are there any scholarships for college students?
To: diotima
ouch.
To: rwfromkansas; Seeking the truth
Yes there are scholarships for college students and you can check into the details for that on the cpac website. They do offer college scholarships and discount rates for students.
Also, there are other hotels nearby the Marriott and some of them have lower rates. I know Seeking the truth stayed somewhere that was nearby and quite reasonable. I am pinging him to this thread.

I can register for 10 bucks as a student and also apply for a scholarship.
