"CPAC is designed to advance important everyday issues such as taxes, crime, culture and foreign policy and to provide basic conservative viewpoints and solutions. The 30th annual CPAC will be a three-day event beginning Thursday, January 30, 2003 through Saturday, February 1, 2003. The conference will once again take place at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia and provide a comprehensive program of speeches, forums and panel discussions. As always, CPAC will feature recognized national elected officials, leaders and grassroots activists from around the country."

I will plan ahead so that maybe I can go next year

Liz - Is there a reason you suggested making reservations at the 'Crystal City Marriott' instead of the 'Crystal Gateway Marriott' where the actual conference is?
I just found out that what I thought was a conflicting date ---- wasn't. So I just registered and am going to make a room reservation for my husband and myself.
But before I do, I wanted to get the different hotels straight. The first year I attended, I was down the road apiece, (a pain in the neck) in one of the Marriotts and not in the actual place where the conference was. The last two years I was in the right place.
Thanks,
Jo-Ann

Whoops, I think I made a mistake when I listed the hotel. There are so many "Crystal City Something or Other" Marriotts.
People should make the reservations at the hotel where the conference is, although there are cheaper hotels nearby.
My mistake!

Are you going?
I would like to, but I would have to be thrifty. My "wife-unit" is just recovering from my trip to FRiva Las Vegas.
