In the final Zogby America Poll before the November 5th elections, 51% of likely voters nationwide say they will vote Democratic in the upcoming Congressional elections, and 49% say they will vote for a Republican candidate.

WRONG!

Pollster John Zogby: "Barring a late calamity or anything else unforeseen, neither party goes into this election with the upper hand. The economy is the issue, as we have been saying for months, but the Democrats do not seem to be poised to take advantage. The last few Congressional elections have been virtually tied. Add another tie."

Your right. The polesters are like the meteorologists. They get by with it. Last winter I was in my doctor's office in Albuquerque. He pulled back the blind and looked out the window and said, "Damn, it snowing. It wasn't supposed to snow today. Those weather forecasters--the only people I know that are consistently wrong and never get sued or fired."

Some people didn't realize how telling this was when Zogby could no longer hide the impending GOP landslide using his secret sauce. They said you had to accept all his polling or none, not realizing how he's biased toward the Dems.

Did it ever occur to Zogby that people lie to polsters just for the fun of it? Or that if you pole 800 knee jerk democrats the pole results will be unrealistic. Don't suppose so. Or, that we the people don't buy his polling results?

Zogby can eat **** (place your own word). He was wrong, wrong, wrong! Dick Morris was wrong, wrong, wrong! I knew when Sununu and then Chambliss won then it was going to be a tough night for democrats. Then Erlich won. Then Romney. Etc.

That was my opinion as well. Until earlier this year I was polled by him, then....never. I suspect my responses were simply too consistently conservative. Then, of course, he did begin sounding like a Demo party shill. That's when I stopped believing his polls had any value at all. He's lost all credibility.

Good, glad to have that confirmed. I usually go to bed around 10, was getting pretty sleepy when I saw it, wanted to make sure I didn't dream something so loopy.
