Bill Clinton campaigned in 24 races. Two of them won. ALL the ones SHE campaigned in lost; to all the other Democrats, this is going to look like McAuliffe blew this election and Gore is going to make a HUGE move to take back the party.
I cannot imagine that the rest of the DNC is pleased today, since Clinton's big thing is that THEY, the DNC, haven't been promoting HIS agenda since he left office.
Perhaps somebody at the DNC will tell him he's a former president -- finally -- and tell him to go play some golf instead of ruining their party.
Tonight's DNC loss can be laid squarely on HIS and McAuliffe's shoulders.
Not that there's anything wrong with that. :-)

Plus there were several Clintonites who lost races as well.
Total Victory over Bubba and Broomhildabeast!

Which were the two winning races for Clinton? Arkansas and California?

"Tonight's DNC loss can be laid squarely on HIS and McAuliffe's shoulders." BWAHAHAH!
And no matter how many law suits some continue to file, THIS IS THE REAL VICTORY!

Agreed. I'm just saying that with a change in strategy the Clintonites could have prevented it. But I'm not sure that they can fight their nature.
I just hope the Dem party either stays split or sticks with the Clinton rogues, and Zell is not able to completely wrest control of the party from them. The trick for them is can they reinvent themselves again, and again fool the public for a few more years?

Peggy Noonan has dubbed this the "Clinton Thud" (as opposed to the "Bush Bounce").
