We just picked a HOUSE SEAT IN MARYLAND Maryland 07 updated: 8:48 p.m. Ward--R defeats Cummings--D (incumbent) updated results
Wrong - CNN is wrong. That's deepest darkest Baltimore. No way a R wins there. They have IL-01 wrong too, for the same reason.

Just paid a visit to out "friends" over at Democratic Underground...
They are just about in a state of meltdown!
It drove them crazy that Jeb and Katherine Harris won in Florida, one went as far as to say that he hoped her plane went down in flames on the way to DC. (real compassionate after Wellstone)
Did you really expect anything else? I guess they could use some "compassionate conservatism" AHAHAHAHAHAHA

Wunderbar!! You have any numbers, holey? Go Chambliss!

Fox calling Levin (D) for Illinois Senate (keeps seat) .
Hagel (R) from Nebraska Senate (keeps seat)
Bill Richardson (D) for New Mexico governor.
Reed (D) for Rhode Island senate (keeps the seat)
Johanns (R) for Neb. Governor.
AP reporting Harvy Pitt of the SEC has resigned. Fox confirms.

Good luck Minnesota! Win it for the GOP!!

From the GA Sec of State site:
18% of precincts reporting
Max Cleland (D) 138,717 45.4%
Saxby Chambliss (R) 162,660 53.2%
Claude "Sandy" Thomas (Lib) 4,286 1.4%
This has been going back and forth for the past 30 minutes at 49%-50% and vice versa. This is the first time Cleland is this far behind. :-)

" R-Adam Taff 29285 052 %
I just became aware of Adam Taff-he looks like a great guy-Navy pilot for 20 years-don't know why the RNC didn't highlight this guy. Hope he pulls out the win.

We just had the same conversation on seeing those results.
This has got to change...

Looks like Lucas will hold on.
Our best bet is to try to get him to cross the aisle. He is definitely a better fit with us ideologically.
Hopefully, he is sick of close elections and makes the jump.

Thuman (D-FL) down by a couple of thousand to Ginnie-Brown Waite(R). Polk and Hernando county left to tabulate. Looking more and more like another republican pick up. Any thoughts from Hernando or Polk?
To: AppyPappy
CNN has Pryor well ahead in Arkansas (but only 1% of the vote counted) but Chambliss is CRUSHING Cleland in Georgia!

These are early numbers but indications for a great night in Massachusetts...
With 3% of the vote counted, Mitt Romney (R) is over Shannon "Hillary" O'Brien 51-44%.
On the ballot questions...
Abolish income tax is ahead 51-49%
English Immersion (abolish "bilingual education") is ahead 75-25%
Taxpayer funded elections is losing 80-20%
Outstanding early results!!!

It appears to be a tight race. Moore's strength is in Douglas. Taff needs that kind of margin in Johnson to win.
