johnson in the lead by over 100 votes....
To: Charles Henrickson
Ouch!
To: AppyPappy
You don't have to get snippy about it :)
If you need to be picky, it's 1117 GMT. End of story :)
To: Charles Henrickson
Does anyone have any idea how many votes are possible in the last 6 precincts?
To: HumbleButExceedinglyAccurate
Do you think the S.D. race will be called once all precincts are reported? Or will the networks wait until there's a recount?
To: cherry
Johnson will finish with a 1000 vote lead. We need to challenge that. Let's hope Bush fights this time.
To: Gunder
Didn't they call Florida for G.W. even though they knew it would trigger a recount?
To: cherry
me wrong....Thune still up by 800 votes...(dong!)
To: Gunder
There's no automatic recount, but if 3 voters in a single precint (I'm really sick of that word and I don't even think I've spelled it right once!) request a recount, it will happen.

Help me out. Even if we lose SD, the Senate is R51-D48-I1

</center>Good morning fellow FReepers and proud citizens of a REPUBLIC government!!!!!
To: rb22982
Come on Thune! There must be justice!
To: JameRetief
Lemme see..I remember it being close at 0118 CST that night...but heard nothing about recounts until the morning (probably because I was engrossed with James Joyce)
To: AppyPappy
That is correct, and next we go to the Louisiana runoff, which could make it 52-47-1. And if we can pull Thune out of the fire, it would be 53-46-1.
Historic.
Paging Senator Murray. Where are you, Senator Patty Murray.
