So are IN-2 and Carson's seat.
Right now, it looks as if we're barely holding our own.

And WHY is FOX showing Monkeys and other such inane crap on election night?????Because, as part of their 'Fair and Balanced' reporting, they need to devote some airtime to democrats. Why do you ask? ;0)

What are North Carolinians thinking anyway? This is what happens when outsiders like the White House and the RNC pick one of their "insiders" as a candidate. Even Helms had close wins in NC,and it was the "crawl across broken glass" conservatives that bailed him out each time. Giddy Dolt doesn't inspire these people. At BEST,she is a RINO. The only reason she is doing as well as she is is because her opponet is Bowles.

The dead candidate is for the house, not the senate. I sort of doubt her husband will win the second "special election," but he's a shoe-in for the first.

I'm drinking Diet Lemon Coke here - I fortunately have my laptop, my wireless internet connection and my television set to BBC News 24 - all set. The BBC will be doing its own coverage shortly - while not completely trustworthy, it's better than Dan Rather(biased).
