The requiem for Liddy has begun but reports of Wayne Allards demise may be way to premature. Undecideds, 13% worth, are breaking for Allard according to Fox and there are lots of absentee ballots which the CO Governor says break heavily pubbie.

It's way too early to get bummed. It's going to be a long night.

Do not give up hope. Lots of time yet, and we are going on actual counts, not projections.
To: dansangel
They are pretty slow at posting results. Nothing has changed on GA Senate race. I am still hopeful for Chambliss. This is only about 110 votes posted.

CNN just called Va congressional race for Cantor (incumbent) which means that "Cooter" (Ben Jones) lost.

Thanks for the encouragement. I keep having flashbacks to 2000 and I think it's influencing my emotions . That was such a bad -- then good -- then really bad night! Though of course everything turned out OK...a month and a half later! :) :)

How bad would the losses have to be for McAuliffe to be fired tonight?

I love the time difference from the mainland on election day. Probably didn't help much in 2000... (we were in Texas that year) but it was a lot of fun in 1994, 96, and 98 when we were here.
Go Lingle!

It's way too early to get bummed. Hear-Hear and Amen.
And WHY is FOX showing Monkeys and other such inane crap on election night?????
To: GOPrincess
DUh laffer:
Tornados and rain in repuke districts should settle the discussion about which party God favours. Or, will they not take the hint? subtle as a chainsaw that one.
To: LBGA
I hate to say this because I know what's going to happen, but cnn.com has a great rolling vote count and Liddy is up 60% to 40% right now

In defense of the FNC, perhaps she was wearing another see-thru dress.
To: Miss Marple
Exactly right, Miss Marple. I feel extra-confident tonight. I've seen too many dems with long faces lately.
Let's Roll!!!
I predict Dole and Chambliss and Sununu win in the East, Followed by Coleman and Talent and Thune in the Midwest.

How nice to have you with us for the nail biting, Ivan. The tea is heavily laced with more sustaining additions than milk or cream.
