"The reason is simple! Turnout, turnout, turnout."Over at DU, they are complaining that "high turnout means we win, therefore there must be pubbie fraud"... lol
They can not understand that WE got our folks to turn out for a change.

"AB-SO-LUTE-LY! The majority party gets first pick of offices. Hillary will only get a second-tier office concurrent with her seniority in the Senate, which is pretty low since she's only been there two years"
Oh, I think I might just cry out of sheer happiness. I hadn't even gotten around to thinking about the reshuffling of office space but of course you're right... that always happens... Oh, how sweet, how sweet.

I also would like to vote for McAuliffe to stay on as DNC chairman. Additionally, I would hope that X-pres Clinton continues to campaign in all those very close races in 2004. Goodness, can you imagine the ashtrays that are flying in Chappaqua tonight?

I truly believed that our Jay, the good Jay, could win.I know just how you feel. We tried to get Dale Shugars elected in SW Michigan in last summer's primary. We had all the pro-lifers and most of the 2 amendment folks with us, but never managed to connect with the "Joe 6-pack" republicans who live in this district. We also got outspent 1.5 million to 80,000. There were few polls taken, and the incumbent RINO seemed to be running scared. In the end, however, we lost 60-32. A real shellacking.

I'll do that, but it will have to wait till the a.m., and it will be up on the AP wire by that time. Gotta work tomorrow, and the kids will be up at 5:30 to make it to the bus on time. What a great night!

This has been the most fun day since the USSC slapped down the SCOFLAws and said, "Stop this re-re-recounting"... LOL

Thune precincts are coming in steadily. There haven't been any Johnson precincts for a while.
I'm afraid something very bad is happening.

Hey!! The D.U.-ers were kind enough to send us a message! (I cleaned it up a little for younger FR-eepers.) Here it is:
When will you a**holes realize that GWB is NOT on your side! He's an Elitist-Ivy League-Nazi, from a long line of Elitist-Ivy League-Nazis. I sure as hell hope you're a millionaire, 'cause if you're not we'll be meeting you in the sweat shops, slave quarters, or Wackenhut concentration camps.
Do you seriously believe that Bush, or any of the pseudo-Christian nut-jobs in this corrupt administration, give a flying fart for your well-being? Do you think it will be their sons and daughters going off to die in their perpetual oil-war? They didn't go themselves, did they?
You've placed our wealth in the hands of liars and frauds, you've entrusted the security of our people to warmongers and cowards, and you've put your faith in fanatics.
Vote Republican, you stupid f*cks. Then watch them f*ck you stupid.
To: valleygal
And to think we were prepaired for massive voter fraud, (there probably was some, but not massive enough)and to not know the results for days, possibly weeks; a Florida 2000 all over again. What a great night we had instead! Thank God! (really)

God bless you all. Signing off.
