There is some confusion about the Bonilla race. I called it for Bonilla, CNN called it, but he is massively behind, but makes no sense. Stay tuned.

MSNBC is pathetic too. Gross. For them, it's over I guess. I'd like to see it when the other Senate seats come in Republican. :) Donna Brazeel saying the Democrats lost by giving too much ground to the Republicans. That woman needs to get a grip. No, she needs a change of heart.

Give Carnahan credit, she conceded with class."

I once had sympathy for Carnahan, but she voted AGAINST Ashcroft's nomination to AG. Consider the following:

1) Ashcroft was good enough to be MO's State Attorney
2) Ashcroft was good enough to be MO's Governor
3) Ashcroft was good enough to be MO's Senator
4) Ashcroft was magnanimous in conceeding to Carnahan in 2000 when he could of challenged the election of a dead man (something not in the state laws)

When Carnahan listened to Daschle, Reed, and Hillary and voted against a son of MO on partisan grounds after all that he has done and his qualifications, I say good riddence to her!

Don't let the door hit you in the a@@ on the way out Mrs. Carnahan!

Neither are the DUhers:

I feel very frightened

This is weird. I feel scared. It's not the kind of emotion I associate with adulthood; it reminds me of being a kid alone in the dark. Is this what it felt like in Germany in the 1930s? When you start worrying about the locks on your door, the potential smallpox in the drinking water, the nuclear briefcase bomb, the disasters still to come? I live in Manhattan, and, last September, a public plaza where I used to take my lunch break during the summer turned into the mouth of Hell.
What's next?

I think they just haven't changed the red state of AZ to blue yet. I'm not optimistic Salmon will pull it out. :(

Juan Williams on Fox news made the stupid statement that it would now be harder for Bush to get his Judicial nominees passed. He also said it would be more contentious. Bull!
