He gets a bigger audience on NBC network coverage compared with ANY cable news outlet. Also, Rush talks about having a solid professional relationship with Tim Russert. That probably influenced Rush and NBC execs.

I assume that you were well meaning in your post, but that was pretty sacriligeous to many here.None intended, I promise you. It's a beloved quote on FR from a beloved film of many Freepers. I just changed "Marines" to "Republicans." It's all Stanley Kubrick's fault.

Keep it up.
I appreciate it.

As a side comment here: "HI, to Democratic Lurkers! How's it going? How's things over at your Democratic Underground? Hmmm???"
To: Torie
Right on target Torie. I'm done , I just fell asleep for a bit.
By the way, I'm impressed. Perhaps you should sell your services to Zogby, he needs help. (g)

MSNBC: PEGGY NOONAN DEFINES "CLINTON THUD": Everywhere Bush visited, his candidates got bumps; everywhere Clinton went, his candidates went DOWN! HAHAHAHAHAA! I just heard this, too... Peggy's fantastic! She compared "The Bush Bounce" to "The Clinton THUD"! LOLOLOL! Donna Brazile - sitting right next to her (what an ODD couple!) - suddenly got really defensive and argumentative over THAT comment. Peggy DARED to diss Donna's Annointed One, Bubba The Sinkmaster. I really thought for a minute there that Donna and Peggy were going to get into a knock-down fist fight!

COLORADO IS IN!!!
In the five four Senate races remaining (LA, MN, MO, SD), Republicans lead in EVERY one at the moment... Louisiana's top 5 candidates are all Dem or GOP, and if you add their totals, it's 51% GOP to 48% Dem. I doubt we'll keep all 4, but 2 sure would be sweet!
(That's what we need to make Chaffee irrelevant at 51-48-1)

97% of precints reporting and Talent has opened back up to the 30000 vote lead he held earlier.
Deep sigh of relief....
thank God for all the Republican election judges in the city of St. Louis where we typically have 30 precints without any Republican representation...today, under 10 were without Pubbies....
Carnahan, Jean DEM 891,866 48.4%
Talent, Jim REP 921,737 50.0%

Is this true about MO law is it confirmed that the winner takes the seat immediately shifting the balance back to 50-50 in the senate.

THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN.
And now I can go to bed. 'Night all.
To: Illbay
The fun part will be watching the Dems lop off the heads of McAuliffe, Daschle, Gebhardt, Clinton et. al. The Dems need to clean house and bring in new faces if they are to have any shot in 2004. I don't think they'll be able to do it.
To: Carolinamom
I want to see PICTURES of senator hillary moving out of her large office and into a basement closet. And Daschle. And Jeffords.
