Over at MSNBC, Peggy Noonan is positively giddy with excitement over Republicans' victories tonight! Chrissy Matthews, Donna Brazile, Howard Fineman and Pat Caddell are ashen-faced and in shock also. I've heard rumors here that the MO governor is going to try to delay certifying the senate results until the last possible moment.

That's no rumor. He was publicly threatening to do this weeks ago. If he does, I think MO voters should petition for a recall election.

How is it a "fundie gospel call" to be faithful to one's spouse, and not leave her for a "trophy wife" bimbo that works for your campaign?

I think some of us FReepers need to stop and figure out just whose side we're on. It's simple: if you want to maintain the support of conservatives--most of whom are SOCIALLY conservative and believe in REAL family values--then you'd better walk the walk as well as talk the talk.
